Arrested: Justin Leyba, 33-year-old male from Chimayo N.M.
On 4-6-21 a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle Mr. Leyba was in because he was not wearing a seatbelt. He concealed his identity and was found in possession of Marijuana and Suboxone. He also had a warrant for his arrest. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Arrested: Marcelino Quintana, 25-year-old male from Santo Domingo Pueblo
On 4-6-2021 at approximately 3:30pm Mr. Quintana crashed his truck into the guardrail on southbound I-25 near mile marker 264. Deputies responded to the crash and observed Mr. Quintana displaying signs of intoxication. He was placed under arrest and submitted to a breath test, results of which were over twice the legal limit. A firearm was also located inside his vehicle.

On Monday, April 5, 2021, deputies responded to the above location for a report of an inmate found with narcotics. Upon arrival, it was found that detention officers had located a controlled substance on the above individual's person. She was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
