On Monday, May 24th, 2021, deputies were advised of an auto burglary at the above location. The victim advised between 2-5pm on 05-24-2021, an unknown person broke a window to gain access to the above mentioned property. This case remains under investigation.

On Monday, May 24th, 2021, deputies were patrolling the area when they observed occupants not wearing seat belts in a vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted and it was found the driver had a revoked driver's license due to a previous DWI conviction. During a subsequent inventory, a stolen Smith and Wesson handgun was located inside the vehicle. The driver was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Arrested: Raymond Alberico, 36-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
The suspect was stopped for a traffic violation. Driver/ suspect was later found with narcotics and a weapon (handgun). Through investigative research it was learned the suspect is a felon. The suspect was charged and booked into ADC.

Arrested: Christine Tortalita, 31-year-old female from Taos N.M.
On 5/23/21 Ms. Tortalita was involved in a single motor vehicle crash on I-25 due to her wheel coming off the vehicle while driving. She had an altered temporary tag in the back window that she admitted altering so it appeared to say 2021 vs 2020. Her driver's license was revoked and she did not have insurance for her vehicle. She was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction. The driver/suspect was later found to be impaired. The suspect was placed under arrest and later booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

On 5/23/21 Deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. While the driver/suspect was exiting the vehicle a small bag/ container was located on his person containing suspected meth. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Deputies stopped the vehicle for an improper turn and suspended registration. The driver showed signs of intoxication and wasultimately arrested and booked for DUI, driving on a revoked license and an improper turn.

Sometime between 4:30pm on 5-20-2021 and 6:30am on 5-21-2021, unknown suspect(s) gained forced entry into the building and stole above mentioned items to include batteries from parked vehicles on the property. Case is under investigation.

On 5/21/21 deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The suspect had switched from the driver to passenger seat. The suspect was later found to have a revoked license. Upon search incident to arrest narcotics were located. The suspect later resisted. The suspect was later booked into the jail on the charges of possession of a controlled substance, driving while license revoked, and resisting evading or obstructing.
