On 5-19-21 a traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Cruz's vehicle after his vehicle was observed with no license plate. It was discovered his driver's license was revoked. He was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Additional charges: Resisting and evading/ no insurance/ vehicle to be registered
Deputies responded to NM 14 in reference to a single vehicle rollover and the suspect vehicle fled the scene. During the investigation, the suspect was located south of the crash on private property. The suspect fled from the Deputy on the property and rammed a gate before coming to a stop. Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.
