The victim reported on 2-1-21 between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm someone broke a bathroom window and entered their home. The suspect(s) rummaged through some drawers but did not steal anything that the victim is aware of at this time.

Deceased: 88-year-old male from Edgewood N.M.
On 1-30-21 at about 5:30pm an 88-year-old male passed away in his residence, while in the presence of family members. The investigation revealed no signs of foul play and his passing appears to be from natural causes. .

On Friday, January 29, 2021 at 4:41pm the above male crashed his vehicle and fled the scene.When deputies arrived on scene the male attempted to flee from them and he was detained. Male showed signs of impairment and refused standardized field sobriety tests. Suspect was charged accordingly.

Victim indicated that she received a call from someone saying they were the fraud department. They told the female to avoid penalties she would have to purchase 1,300 dollars worth of gift cards. The victim did so and gave the caller the card numbers and pins. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Manuel Torres / 39yom / Santa Fe, NM
Deputies were dispatch to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center in reference to Correctional Officers finding narcotics on the above male. Suspect admitted that the narcotics were his and he was rebooked into jail.

On Friday, January 29, 2021, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a not conscious and not breathing 37 year old male. Upon arrival no signs of life were observed and OMI responded to the scene. No signs of foul play were observed. This case remains under investigation.

Deputies responded to above location in reference to an automobile burglary. Victim reported between 6:15pm on 1-26-2021 and 9:30am on 1-27-2021, unknown suspects gained forced entry through the driver's side door and stole documents from inside the vehicle. Case is under investigation.

Deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to narcotics found on an inmate. During the investigation, the above subject was found with a small plastic bag with a crystal like substance on her person. The substance tested positive for methamphetamine. Subject was charged and re-booked accordingly.
