Arrested: Elizabeth Gehring     Age 30    Glorieta, NM

Gehring was contacted by Deputies after receiving a report of a driver slumped over behind the steering wheel of her vehicle. Upon contacting her, she was found to have four outstanding warrants for her arrest. Gehring was arrested and transported to jail without incident.

Deputies responded to above location in reference to a narcotic violation.  Above subject was found in possession of 31 orange like film substances (Suboxone).  Subject re-booked accordingly.

Victim reported to Deputy that unknown persons hacked into his personal computer and demanded money to fix an issue. Victim paid the request before realizing he had been scammed. Case is under investigation.

Items Stolen: Purse; U.S. Currency

Victim reported to Deputy that she had left her purse in the establishment and upon realizing this, she contacted the establishment to see if anyone turned in the purse. Victim reported no one submitted the purse and upon checking her bank accounts learned unknown persons had used her credit cards. Case in under investigation.

Victim reported to Deputy while he entered into the establishment, unknown persons entered his vehicle and stole the listed type of items. Case is under investigation.

Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash at the listed location.  During investigation the driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested and booked accordingly.

Vehicle: 2016 blue Volkswagen 4door

Suspect: Kenneth Howard, 55, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: DWI, Careless Driving, Open Container

On Sunday, May 26, 2019 at approximately 2:22pm, deputies responded to location in reference to a motor vehicle accident. The vehicle failed to make a turn and crossed the bridge, crashing into the railing on the bridge. Suspect was the driver, who displayed signs of impairment. Suspect agreed to submit to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. During the tests, the suspect continued to show signs of impairment. Suspect was placed under arrest and was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory. Suspect agreed to provide a breath test and provided two breath samples of 0.08 or higher. Inside the vehicle an open container of an alcoholic beverage was located. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

The warrants were for No Proof of Insurance and Expired Registration. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
