On Monday, February 18, 2019 at approximately 2:22pm, Deputy made contact with the victim in reference to a fraud. It was learned an unknown suspect(s) used her name to start a Verizon account and a cellular phone was sent to location. Investigation is ongoing.

Victim: Male, 48, Santa Fe, NM

On Monday, February 18, 2019 at approximately 3:10pm, an unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered the residence. Damage has been caused to the front door. Investigation is ongoing.


0219002840 Burglary, Larceny Criminal Damage to Property 2/18/19

Items taken:  Misc. coins valued at $200 and a DVD player

Location: Valle Vista

Sometime between 1/11/19 and 2/17/19 unknown suspect(s) gained entry by forcing the door open. Once inside the suspect(s) stole above listed items. This incident is under investigation.


0219002806 Driving While License Revoked 2/16/19

Suspect/ Arrested: E. Lujan age 33

Location: US 84/285 MM 179

Vehicle was stopped for not tail lamps. Driver had a revoked license for a prior DWI. He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County ADC without incident.

Location: Cowboy Lane, Espanola, NM

Suspect: Lisa Chavez, 33, Espanola, NM

On Sunday, February 17, 2019 at approximately 9:16pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. While at the location it was learned the suspect had an outstanding arrest warrant. The warrant was for the original charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Victim: Male, 63, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property

On Sunday, February 17, 2019 at approximately 7:51pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the residence by damaging a door and removed a television from the residence. Investigation is ongoing.


Case #0219002832, Driving While License Revoked

Location: Firehouse Rd, Espanola, NM

Vehicle: 2004 blue Toyota Camry

Suspect: Danielle Jaramillo, 29, Espanola, NM

On Sunday, February 17, 2019 at approximately 4:19pm, Deputy made contact with the vehicle. Suspect was in the driver's seat with the engine running. Suspect admitted to driving to location. Suspect was run through N.C.I.C. and returned with a revoked driver's license with the 66-8-122G arrest clause attached. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was towed by the next tow truck on rotation.


0219002835-Driving while drivers license revoked-02/17/19

Vehicle:2010 Ford Fusion

On Sunday, February 17, 2019, at 6:16 pm deputies conducted a traffic stop on above vehicle for not having Operational Tail Lamps after Sunset. The driver was identified and returned with a revoked license with section 66-8-122G. The driver was arrested a booked into ADC without further incident. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.


0219002793/ Aggravated DUI/ 02/16/2019

Location: West Alameda/ Caja del Oro Grant Road

Suspect: Vanessa Machado 34 YOA   Santa Fe, NM

Suspect was stopped for failure to maintain traffic lanes. She had an odor of an alcoholic beverage and admitted to consuming two glasses of wine. SFST's were administered and indicated impairment. She refused chemical testing and was booked at the adult detention facility.

Deputies were doing a welfare check on suspect vehicle and it was revealed that suspect had a bench warrant out of the city of Santa Fe. Suspect was booked at SFCADC without incident.
