On Sunday, October 11, 2020, Deputies responded to US 84/285, mile marker 185 to assist Pojoaque Tribal Police on a traffic stop with an intoxicated driver who was non-native. Deputies made contact with the driver/suspect who had blood shot watery eyes and the smelled of an alcoholic beverage. The driver/suspect performed SFST’s poorly. The driver/suspect refused to submit to a chemical test. The driver/suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into ADC.

On Sunday, October 11, 2020, Deputies made contact with a male walking south on US 84/285 and the Frontage Road. The male was heading to Santa Fe to get a bus ride so he could leave the state. The male agreed to allow the Deputy to give him a ride to Santa Fe. It was determined that the male had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. During a pat search the male had suboxone in his possession. Suspect was transported and booked into ADC.

On Saturday, October 10, 2020, Deputies responded to 108 Cities of Gold Rd. Santa Fe NM for a male asleep behind his steering wheel of his vehicle. Contact was made with the driver/suspect and SFST’s were administered. The driver/suspect showed signs of impairment. The driver/suspect was placed under arrest for DUI, and taken to Presbyterian Medical Center for a blood test. The driver/suspect was also found to have Xanax pills with no prescription in his possession. The driver/suspect was transported and booked into ADC.

Arrested: Juan Esquivel, 36-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 10-10-20 a traffic stop was conducted on a white 1991 Ford Explorer due to suspended registration. Further investigation revealed the driver, Mr. Esquivel's driver's license was revoked. He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

On Saturday, October 10, 2020, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 blue Yamaha sport motorcycle. The driver/suspect was ran through NCIC/MVD, which revealed the suspect was wanted on three outstanding municipal warrants. A pat search was conducted and the suspect was found to have cocaine in his possession. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into ADC.

On Monday, October 5th, 2020, deputies responded to the above area in reference to disorderly conduct. Prior to deputies arrival, Santa Fe RECC advised the parties had left in a purple in color Cadillac. A Cadillac was found in the vicinity and a traffic stop was conducted for the vehicle not having insurance or registration. The above driver displayed signs of impairment and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages. She was later placed under arrest and she provided a breath sample which showed her to be above the legal limit to operate a motor vehicle. She was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

On Sunday, October 4th, 2020, deputies were patrolling the above area when they observed a Subaru Outback traveling the wrong way on La Puebla Road. A traffic stop was conducted and the above driver displayed signs of impairment. The driver was later arrested and refused to submit to chemical testing. She was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility and booked without incident.
