On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to a report's of criminal damage to property.  Upon arrival, it was discovered that an unknown person(s) kicked a garage door causing damage, in addition to "Keying" a parked vehicle sometime during the early morning hours.  This case is currently under investigation. 


0218015137-Burglary- Larceny- Criminal Damage to Property-09/07/18

Location: 100 Blk Camino Rincon

Taken: TV and wireless speakers($230)

Victim: 62 Year Old Male

The victim stated that between 3:00 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. today, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the guest house and stole the listed items. The victim said that he does not know if the guest who is staying there had any items stolen, just what he had furnished in the house.Case in under investigation.

Items Taken: Unknown at this time.

Suspect Vehicle: Silver Chevrolet Malibu Blk rims

Reporting party returned from lunch around 1:20Pm and saw suspect vehicle in the area. Reporting party  does not know of anything was stolen at this time, but believes someone went through the unit attempting to steal something. No suspects at this time.

Suspect was served with Bench Warrant for failure to comply with conditions of release. Suspect was served at the Santa Fe County Detention Center and rebooked.

Suspect/Arrested: Dirk Stronck Age 48

Location: Santo DR

On Wednesday, September 5th, 2018 at approximately 10:48pm deputies were dispatched to the address listed above in reference to a domestic disturbance.Upon arrival contact was made with the suspect. Suspect was being placed in investigated detention the suspect became aggressive and resisted when a pat search was being conducted for weapons.

 It was learned that the suspect had battered the victim listed above by throwing the victim's dog at her face. The suspect also destroyed property at the home that they share totaling approximately $500.

The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly. The suspect was also found to have an active arrest warrant for domestic violence issued out of the Santa Fe Magistrate Court, which was also served at the time of arrest.


Case #0218015018, Felony DWI

Location: 200 block of NM 503, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Lonnie Petry, 51, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: 2018 white Kia Soul

Charges: Felony DWI, Speeding, Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic

On Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at approximately 7:08pm, Deputy responded to the area in reference to a reckless driver. Deputy observed the vehicle traveling 7mph over the speed limit and failing to maintain it's lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, who is the suspect. Suspect showed signs of impairment and refused to submit to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Suspect was placed under arrest for DWI and was read the NM Implied Consent Advisory. Suspect refused to submit to chemical testing. Checking the suspect's driving history revealed at least three prior DWIs. A warrant was drafted and approved by a judge for a blood draw. A blood draw was administered at the St. Vincent Hospital. The suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.


Case#: 0218014981, Aggravated Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Propery, 9/5/18

Incident Location: Hondo Area

Property Taken: Miscellaneous Rifles, Hoyt compound Bow, Binoculars, Rangefinder and 3 Piggy Banks, Ring

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to a report of a residential burglary.  Upon arrival, it was discovered that the unknown suspects gained entry into the residence and stole the aforesaid items.  This case is currently under investigation.  Suspect information is pending.

Case #0218014931, Possession of a Controlled Substance

Suspect: Vanessa Garcia, 27, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Lorazepam; Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Suboxone; Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Marijuana

On Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at approximately 5:14pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate found in possession of a controlled substance. Suspect was found in possession of Lorazepam, Suboxone, and Marijuana. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
