Deputies were dispatched to location in reference to an Arson. They were informed sometime during the weekend, unknown persons ignited log benches, wooden posts and a gazeebo structure. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Johnny Salazar 51 yoa Chama, NM
Deputy clocked above subject speeding (106 mph in a posted 55 mile per hour) using a Pro Laser Lidar. A traffic stop was conducted and the Deputy learned that the above subject had a revoked license with the arrest clause interlock required. There was no interlock in the vehicle. The subject was arrested and booked at ADC accordingly.

Stolen: $2,000 in US currency, 9MM Star Pistol , Ryobi impact drill, Milwaukee impact wrench. Value : $3,650
Victim reported sometime between December 15, 2018 at 10am and December 17, 2018 at 10am, unknown suspects gained forced entry thru the garage by pushing in the window to the door and stole the above mentioned items from the residence. Case is under investigation.

Deputies were told by family members they were concerned over information they obtained from the victim. Victim and suspect were located after receiving information on their whereabouts. The suspect was arrested and booked without incident and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Charges: Assault Upon a Peace Officer, Disorderly Conduct
On Friday, December 14, 2018 at approximately 1:39pm, deputies responded to location in reference to a male, who was yelling. Suspect was yelling in the roadway and was taking off clothing. Suspect threatened deputy as he closed distance. Suspect was tased and placed under arrest. Suspect was medically cleared, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Victim reported the suspect called her and her child multiple times while intoxicated. Contact was made with the suspect who advised he did in fact call the victim. The suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

Charges: DWI,. Careless, and Driving While Revoked
On 12/14/18 a traffic stop was conducted on a 2002 Ford F-150 after it was observed crossing into oncoming traffic. The defendant pulled over and fled on foot. He was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. The defendant submitted to SFST's and was subsequently charged with DWI. The defendant provided a breath sample which was over the 0.08 legal limit. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center accordingly. He was also found to be driving on a revoked license due to a prior dwi.
