On Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at approximately 3:36pm, Deputies responded to the area in reference to a medical call. Contact was made with the suspect who had two outstanding arrest warrants. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. The warrants were for DWI, Driving While License Revoked; and Concealing Identity.

On 12-12-18, Santa Fe PD made contact with the above subjects after being flagged down for a welfare check by Santa Fe County Fire personnel. Josue was driving a maroon in color Kia when his tire went flat. Josue contacted his brother Eliu to come pick him up. When Eliu picked up Josue and began to drive off. A traffic stop was conducted and it was learned both parties were driving their respective vehicles while their licenses to do so were revoked. Josue was found to have four active warrants for his arrest. One issued out of Santa Fe Magistrate Court and the remaining three out of Santa Fe Municipal Court. Both parties were booked into the Santa Fe County ADC accordingly.

While incarcerated at the SFCADC suspect was served bench warrant for failure to pay fines from Metro court in Bernalillo County NM. Suspect was rebooked.

Suspect: Daniel Dumovitz(38)

Location: 28 Camino Justicia

Jail staff found Inmate Daniel Dumovitz acting suspicious and approached him. While approaching him they saw him attempting to hide a plastic wrapped package  and found two similar packages on the floor next to him. The packages were found to have 110 tablets of Suboxone, Marijuana, and Tobacco. He was booked under the new charges without further incident.

    A 21-year-old female reported she was raped in the early morning hours of 12-9-18 at a residence in the Turquoise Trail Subdivision by a male friend.  The case is under investigation.
