On Monday, June 4, 2018 at approximately 3:14pm, deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Since last night, suspect battered the victim, prevented her from leaving, and threatened to cause more harm if she called for help. Victim was transported to the hospital for her injuries. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

On Monday, June 4, 2018, victim reported that she checked with her bank in reference to checks she had requested. Victim was informed checks had been sent and an account inquiry showed 3 checks had been cashed totaling more that $1000. Case is under investigation.

On Saturday, June 2, 2018 at approximately 5:00pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate with an outstanding arrest warrant. Suspect had an outstanding arrest warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Sometime between 11:00 pm on June 1st and 6:00 am on June 2nd, unknown suspects stole the bicycle which was locked to the back of an RV at the listed location. Case is under investigation.

On Friday, June 6, 2018 at approximately 2:30pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate found in possession of controlled substances. Suspect was found in possession of Heroin, Methamphetamine, Suboxone, and Lerazopam. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Suspect: Isaac D. Chavez – 26 - Santa Fe, NM
Charges: DWI – Aggravated Fleeing Law Enforcement – Negligent use of a Firearm – Reckless Driving – Possession of a Controlled Substance
At 0307hrs, dispatch reported that a tow truck operator was following a vehicle from the 269 mile marker on I-25 that was driving without a right front tire, causing sparks. At one point the tow truck operator reported that the driver threw a case of beer out of the moving vehicle.
Deputy Garcia attempted a traffic stop at the 276 mile marker but the vehicle refused to yield.
The vehicle was pursued and finally came to a stop on Sawmill Rd. after exiting onto St. Francis Dr.
During the search of the vehicle prior to impoundment a loaded 9mm HK semi-auto was recovered. Also located was a small amount of marijuana and some blue in color pills.
The suspect provided a breath sample with the results being a .15 and a .15
The suspect was booked into ADF.
The suspect’s vehicle was impounded.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Arrested person arrived at the Sheriff's Office to recover property and was found to have an active warrant issued for his arrest. Subject was taken into custody without incident.
