On October 16, 2018 Deputies responded to the location in reference to a burglary. Victim reported sometime between 2:00pm-3:30pm someone made entry by breaking a bedroom door window with a brick. Victim stated the suspect rummaged through some drawers but nothing was stolen. No suspect info at this time.

Suspect: Edna Montoya Age: 57
Deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to disorderly conduct. During the investigation, Deputies learned above suspect was allowed on the property by the land owner and above subject had an active warrant for her arrest (Failure to comply). Subject was arrested on the warrant. During search incident to arrest, two hypodermic needles were found in subjects wallet with one hypodermic needle with a clear liquid substance. Subject was read her Miranda rights and admitted the clear liquid was methamphetamine. Subject booked at ADC.

On Monday, October 15, 2018 at approximately 3:00pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate who had 2 outstanding arrest warrants. Suspect had two arrest warrants for the original charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. One of the warrants was for failure to comply with the conditions of release. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

On Saturday, October 13, 2018 at approximately 3:51pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. An unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered the vehicle and removed a 9mm handgun. Nothing else was removed from the vehicle. Investigation is ongoing.

Contact was made with the suspect and two outstanding arrest warrants were confirmed for the suspect for the original charges of Receiving or Transferring Stolen Property and for Failure to Comply with Conditions of Probation. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
