On Friday, September 1, 2017 at approximately 5:15am, Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate, who had an outstanding arrest warrant. The warrant was for failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.


Case #0217013031, False Imprisonment

Location: Escuelita Lane, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Female, 36, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Anthony Martinez, 40, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: False Imprisonment, Battery Against a Household Member

On Thursday, August 31, 2017 at approximately 8:05pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Suspect and victim were involved in an argument. During the argument the victim tried to leave and the suspect prevented the victim from leaving. Suspect also battered the victim. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

Suspect was incarcerated at the Santa Fe County Adult Jail and served a magistrate court warrant for failure to comply with conditions of probation.

0217012973-Robbery-Aggravated Battery-Aggravated Assault-08/30/17

Deputy Assigned: J. Blaisure

Commander Entering: Sgt. T. Benavidez

Victim: 21 Year Old Male

On the listed date at the listed address two suspects,  demanded the listed victim give them his money while armed with a small baseball bat and baton. The suspects stole the listed items prior to striking the victim with the weapons. The victim was bleeding profusely from his head and was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital. Detectives took over the scene.


0217012948-Aggravated Burglary-Larceny-08/30/17

Location: Piedras Negras

Taken: 22 Caliber rifle, Pellet Gun Purse containing Credit Cards and DL

Victim stated that at approximately 3:40 pm someone rang her door bell. Victim stated that she went out the back door and walked around to the front of the house. Victim stated that she didn’t see anyone in front and went back around to the back door. Victim stated that as she walked into the kitchen from the back door she heard a door open in the house. She then observed the suspect carrying a rifle in one hand and a second object in the other. The victim then ran out of the residence and went to neighbor’s house while dialing 911. Deputies arrived and cleared the residence.


0217012943-Death Investigation-08/30/17

Location: La Barbaria

Victim: 64 Year Old Male

On Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at approximately 1:11pm I was dispatch to  La Barbaria in reference to male subject (victim) found not conscious and not breathing. Upon arrival learned from paramedics victim did not have a pulse and body was stiff from rigamortis. OMI called out to scene to conduct their investigation. No Foul Play suspected.


0217012944-Driving while license is suspended or revoked-08/30/17

 Location:West Frontage- NM 599

Suspect: Felipe Trejo(48)

I was dispatched to the I-25 West Frontage Rd. and Los Pinos Rd., in reference to a Grey Honda Civic whom was driving on the wrong side of the road traveling head on with traffic on Los Pinos Road. Contact was made with the driver and vehicle. The driver was arrested after being cleared for medical issues he was having. The vehicle was seized as per the county ordinance.


0217012926 / Felony DWI, Negligent use of a weapon, open container, failute to stop at stop sign / 08/30/17

Deputy Assigned: J. Talachy

Commander Entering: Lt. F. Trujillo

Location: State Road 599 / State Road 14

Arrested: Christopher Cordova 33 years old, Albuquerque, NM, 87507

 Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a traffic stop near the area of State Road 14 and State Road  599. Deputies arrived and made contact with Officers from the Santa Fe Police Department. SFPD Officers observed the driver fail to stop at a posted stop light. When  SFPD Officers made contact with the driver he admitted to having a firearm in the vehicle. Deputies made contact with the driver identified as Christopher Cordova. Signs of impairment were observed on the driver. The driver was arrested for DWI. A firearm was located in the vehicle. Christopher Cordova was arrested and taken for a breath test. After the breath test the Christopher was transported to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Facility where he was booked accordingly. Mr. Crodova's vehicle was seized.

 


Case#:0217012909, Battery Against a Household Member, 8/29/17

Deputy Handling: J.Vigil

Subject Arrested: Juliette Boyus, 35 year old female

Incident Location: Canyon Road and Upper Canyon Lane area

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the victims home in reference to a report of a Domestic Disturbance.  Upon arrival, it was discovered that the victim and his girlfriend were involved in an altercation due to the victim confronting her about her level of intoxication.  Upon completion of the investigation, the above listed female was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center where she was charged and booked without incident.
