 Suspect: Bradley Tripp – 22 - Edgewood, NM

Charges: Battery against a Household Member

On Saturday May 26, 2018 at approximately 03:54 a.m. deputies dispatched to the intersection of County Line Road and Peaceful drive in reference to a male individual who stated he had a warrant and wanted to surrender himself. Reporting party also stated he wanted to speak to an officer about a domestic violence he had been involved in with his fiancé. Upon arriving on scene, Bradley stated he hit and spit on his fiancé. Deputies made contact with his fiancé and her statement was consistent with the suspects.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

 


0218008075 / Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage / 5-25-18

Location: Juan Medina Rd

Stolen: Electronics

Deputies were dispatched to the Benny Chavez Community Center in reference to a burglary.  The investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) entered the building through an unlocked window and stole the listed items.  Case is under investigation.

Location: Tranquil Trail

Deputies were dispatched to the listed area in reference to a 90 year old male not conscious not breathing.  Investigation revealed the male passed away of natural causes.  No signs of foul play.

Suspect was transported from another jurisdiction and was found with a black tar substance that tested positive for heroin. Suspect was rebooked.

Suspect was stopped for a traffic violation and it was revealed that suspect had a Bench Warrant for failure to appear on another traffic violation. Suspect was booked into SFCADC with incident.

On Thursday, May 24, 2018, at approximately 8:49pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a Breaking and Entering call. An unknown suspect(s) damaged the front door to gain entry into the residence. Nothing appears to have been taken from the residence. Investigation is ongoing.
