Deputies responded to location in reference to an unknown person entering the establishment demanding money. Suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money on foot north from the establishment. Case is under investigation.

Victim: 81yr old male

Location: Camino Pacifico

On todays date at approximately 11:21am, a 81 year male (victim) was found deceased in residence.  No signs of foul play were observed. Victim had persisting medical issues on top heavy drinking issues. The Office of Medical Investigator (OMI) arrived and took over the investigation.

Location: 100 Block of Dinosaur Trail, Santa Fe, NMN

Above subject was arrested on a warrant for his arrest for false imprisonment and battery against a household member.  Above subject was booked at ADC accordingly.

Location: 100 Block of Old Dinosaur Trail- Santa Fe

On 02/19/18 Deputies responded to the above address in regards to a Domestic Dispute. Investigation revealed the victim was battered during the dispute and briefly held against her will. The suspect (a household member) left the scene prior to Deputies arrival. Charges are pending at this time.


0218002649 Death Investigation 2/18/18

Victim: 37yr old male

Location: Povi Pin Poe

On todays date at approximately 6:00PM, a 37 year male (victim) was found deceased in residence.  Victim had a history of heart problems.  No signs of foul play were observed. The Office of Medical Investigator (OMI) arrived and took over the investigation. He advised there was nothing suspicious and the victim appeared to have died of natural causes.

Person Arrested: Samuel Saouza, 29 year old male subject

On the aforementioned date, Deputies made contact with the above mentioned male subject in reference to a warrant service.  Upon taking the male into custody, it was discovered that he had illegal narcotics on his person. The male subject was taken to the adult detention facility where he was charged and booked without incident.

 Location: 17486 NM 84/285

The suspect was found at the listed area acting suspicious by the Casino Staff. A medic was called for him. While speaking with him, a syringe was found sticking out of his sweater from the draw string area. It tested positive during a field test for heroin. The suspect was booked into the jail for the listed charge.
