Victim: 27 Year Old Male

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to an ambulance assist. While en route, RECC advised of a male subject who was unconscious and was not breathing in a hotel room. Upon arrival, contact was made with Pojoaque PD who advised housekeeping located the subject deceased on the floor. OMI arrived on and scene and not observe any signs of trauma. No evidence of foul play was located. 


0217009480 - Battery against a Household Member - 07-04-17

 Suspect: Carlis Chee - 48 - Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Battery against a Household Member - Interference with Communications

Victim reported that she and her boyfriend had gotten into an argument. The boyfriend grabbed her around the waist and would not let her go. The suspect then grabbed her by the legs and they fell to the floor. Victim said the suspect took her cell phone away to prevent her from calling 911

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).


0217009475 - Criminal Tresspass - 07-03-17

Location: Boys & Girls Club (Pojoaque)

 Suspect: Christopher Martinez  - 20 - Espanola, NM

Charges: Criminal Trespass - Resisting or Obstructing an Officer

Deputies and Pojoaque Tribal Police were dispatched in reference to a domestic dispute involving the suspect who Pojoaque Police and trespassed from property earlier. When the Pojoaque Police attempted to stop the suspect he refused to stop his vehicle until he was blocked in by a Pojoaque Police Unit.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).


0217009609-Concealing Identity, Driving while license revoked, speeding- 7-5-17

Deputy Assigned- Cpl. J. Mosher

Location- State Road 14 mm 39

Person Arrested- Melecio Gallegos 23 yo Santa Fe

A traffic stop was initiated on the above listed person as he was observed speeding.  Upon making contact, above listed concealed his identity to officers and when his identity was clarified, it was found that his license was revoked.  Subject was booked accordingly.


Case#: 0217009596, Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property. 7/5/17

Incident Location: Zion Church (Pojoaque Area)

 

On the aforementioned date and location, Deputies responded to a report of 2 vans being burglarized.  Upon further investigation, it appeared the individual(s) used a rock to force entry and damage the windows of the vehicles.  A stereo was taken from the dash of one of the vans.  This case is currently under investigation.   


0217009575 / Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property / 7-5-17

Location: Residence on Clove Court, Santa Fe

Stolen, HP Lap Top computer, bank deposit slips, credit cards, silver coins.  Unknown value at this time.

The victim reported someone forced entry into their home through a window between July 3rd after 8:am to Jul;y 4th before 7:30pm and stole the above listed items.

Stolen: Leather jackets, bag of hand tools, misc. documents

Suspect(s): Pending

Victim reported sometime between 7-2-17  and 7-3-2017, an unknown person gained forced entry into his vehicle and stole the above listed items. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Anthony Rodriguez – 38 - Santa Fe, NM

Above suspect was found in possession of schedule III and schedule IV narcotics in his person after a routine scan. The suspect was re-booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).


Case #0217009541, Battery Against a Household Member

Location: Southfork, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Female, 22, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Merrell Cantu, 44, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Battery Against a Household Member, Criminal Trespass, Unlawful Use of a Telephone

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at approximately 11:20pm, Deputy made contact with the victim, who advised she had been involved in a domestic dispute. It was learned that victim and suspect, who are boyfriend and girlfriend, were involved in an argument. Victim left the area and went to a residence that she was housesitting. Suspect gained unlawful entry into the residence and battered the victim. While filing the report, suspect was sending text messages to the victim. A warrant was drafted and approved by a Magistrate Court Judge. The suspect was then placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

Charges: Battery Against a Household Member, Possession of Alcoholic Beverages By Minors

On Monday, July 3, 2017 at approximately 11:55pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a fight. It was learned that the suspect and victim, who are boyfriend and girlfriend, were involved in an argument. During the argument the suspect battered the victim. Suspect also admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life threatening injuries as a result of this incident.
