The suspect was first encountered by the Pojoaque Tribal Police who found him to be in possession of syringes. When deputies arrived on the scene the syringes were checked and one was found to contain some heroin.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to an ambulance assistance. Medic personnel arrived on scene and did not find any signs of life. During the investigation, the above deceased was found to have a self inflicted injury to the head. OMI arrived on scene and did not find any signs of foul play.
