Deputies were  dispatched to Cities of Gold Road in reference to an intoxicated person. Suspect had three outstanding warrants for failure to appear on Serving Drinking Alcoholic Beverages in an Unlicensed Establishment. Suspect was taken to Santa Fe County Adult Jail without incident.


0217015147- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-10/08/17

Suspect: Shayna Lewis(29)

The suspect was found with contraband inside the jail during a pat down. The suspected stated that she had brought it in her with her last when she arrested by  local law enforcement. The suspect stated that she had it hidden in her bra area when she was booked in early this morning, but that it wasn’t found until she was being moved. The suspect stated that the contraband is a syringe that she uses to ingest heroin. The suspect was charged and booked accordingly.


0217015107-Resisting or Obsructing an Officer-10/07/17

Suspect: Justin Leyba (31)

Deputies were attempting to locate suspect per Santa Fe County EM advising suspect violated his probation. Suspect climbed out of his window and fled on foot. Deputies located suspect and served an active bench warrant  where he was booked without further incident.


0217015102 / Warrant Service / 10-7-2017

Location: Agua Fria / Siler Park Lane   Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: April Little        Age: 24      Santa Fe, NM

Deputy arrested the female after observing her operating a vehicle and committing a traffic violation. After initiating a traffic stop the female was found to have an active warrant for her arrest. The female was transported to jail and booked accordingly.  


0217015132 / Aggravated DWI, Immediate notice of accident, Careless driving / 10-08-17

Deputy assigned: A. Lopez

Location: Saint Francis Drive/Rabbit Road

Arrested: Joseph Rincon, 28-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 10-08-17 at approximately 5:00am the defendant crashed his vehicle into the caution sign at the dead end of Saint Francis drive.  He left the scene and drove into a private driveway just down the road where he crashed into the homeowners vehicle.  Deputies arrived and contacted the defendant who displayed signs of intoxication.  He was subsequently arrested on the above charges. 


Case#: 0217015058, Robbery, 10/6/17

Deputy Handling: J. Maylone

Incident Location: NM State Road 76 (Cuarteles Area)

 

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the area of NM State Road 76, in reference to a report of a Robbery.  Upon further investigation, the suspect took money from the victim by using a handgun of unknown caliber.  The suspect then fled the area in a older model gray sedan.  This case is currently under investigation.

Arrested: Martin Martinez       Age: 40       Albuquerque,NM

Inmate was found to have two active warrants and was re booked charging them accordingly.


0217015033 / Possession of a controlled substance / 10-6-2017

Deputy Assigned: Dayton Bell

Location: Santa Fe County Jail

Arrested: Reyes Garcia      Age: 37      Santa Fe, NM

Deputy was dispatched to location in reference to an inmate being found in possession of controlled substance. Upon arrival, the inmate was found to have suspected Methamphetamine and Suboxone. Inmate was re booked into jail with the additional charges.


0217015076 – Possession of Controlled Substance - 10-07-17

Location: US-84/285 & W. Gutierrez

 Suspect: Matthew Arellano – 19 - Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Possession of Controlled Substance X2 – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Warrant Service

Narrative: Deputy did a welfare check on a subject who was walking along the highway.  A check of the subject revealed that he had a warrant for his arrest for Impersonating a Police Officer.  Upon searching the suspect after placing him under arrest the deputy found a grinder, marijuana and a white powder. The suspect told him was crushed up adderall pills and he did not have a prescription for them.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).


Case#: 0217015051, Driving while License Revoked, Display of Plates, 10/6/17

Deputy Handling: J.Vigil

Commander Entering: Cpl R.Ulibarri

Person Arrested: Ben Herrera, 35 Year old Male Subject

Vehicle Seized: Black in color, 2005 model, Cadillac Escalade.

 

On the aforementioned date, Deputies initiated a traffic stop on the above mentioned vehicle for moving violations.  Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the above mentioned male subject's drivers license was revoked with the arrest clause.  The male subject was taken into custody and the vehicle was seized pursuant to Santa Fe County's seizure ordinance.  The subject was taken to the adult detention center where he was charged and booked without incident.
