Charges: Battery against a Household Member
Deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. Investigation showed that the boyfriend pushed his girlfriend to the ground during an argument. The suspect then locker himself and their 3 month daughter in the house and would not let his girlfriend inside.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Charges: Driving while Revoked – Speeding – Expired Registration – No insurance – Open Container (Alcohol)
The suspect was stopped for speeding by a Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Police Officer. When the suspect was found to be non-tribal the Sheriff’s Office was called. Upon deputies investigation the above offenses were determined to have been committed.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Pojoaque Tribal Police initially stopped the suspect’s vehicle for failure to maintain a proper lane of travel. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered with showed signs of impairment. The suspect agreed to a breath test with the results being .10/.09.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Deceased: 53-year-old male
On 4-15-17 at about 11:45am a 53-year-old male was found deceased in his home by a family member. Sheriff's Deputies and the Office of the Medical Investigator responded to the scene and conducted an investigation finding no signs of foul play. Cause of death is pending.

Deputy Vigil conducted a traffic stop on a green Chevy Sonic at the listed location. Upon contact with the driver / suspect Deputy Vigil detected an odor of marijuana. Field Sobriety Tests were completed and several signs of impairment were observed. A breath test was conducted and results were .18, .15, .15. During an inventory of the vehicle an open container of brandy was located. Vehicle registration had been expired since 2016. Suspect was booked accordingly.
