Deputies responded to above location in reference to a residential burglary. No signs of forced entry was located. Victim reports the above items stolen. No further information at this time. Case under investigation.


0217016800 / Criminal Damage to Property / 11-8-2017

Location: Bishops Lodge Road     Tesuque, NM

Deputies were dispatched to Bishops Lodge Road in reference to damage to a traffic control device. Upon arrival, Deputies located a traffic control sign that had sustained damage which made the traffic control device inoperable. Case is under investigation.

Incident Location: 300 Cinco Hermanos, Santa Fe, NM

Property Taken:  purse, back pack, Driver license, credit cards

Victims reported sometime last night between 11-7-2017 and 11-8-2017, unknown suspect(s) gained entry into their unlocked vehicles and stole the above mentioned items. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Antonio Quintana-Pena, 32, Santa Fe, NM

On Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at approximately 12:06am, Deputy came in contact with the suspect at location, who had an outstanding arrest warrant. Warrant was for Driving While License Suspended, No Insurance, and Speeding. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Location: NM 14 Mile Marker 41, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Jana Valdez, 31, Santa Fe, NM

On Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at approximately 10:28pm, Deputy conducted a traffic stop where the driver, the suspect, had an outstanding warrant for their arrest. Suspect had an arrest warrant for Expired Registration, No Insurance, and Driving While License Suspended. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Arrested: Timothy Chavez      Age: 46      Santa Fe, NM

Above person was arrested at the scene of an unwanted person call. Upon contacting the subject, he was found to have five outstanding warrants out for his arrest. Chavez was arrested without incident and taken to jail.

Property Taken:  Misc. Jewelry, Damaged Front Door and window

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to a report of a Burglary of a jewelry gallery.  Upon arrival, It was discovered that an unknown person forced entry into the business and stole a large amount of southwestern type jewelry.  This case is currently under investigation.

Victim: Female, 50, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Breaking and Entering, Criminal Damage to Property

On Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at approximately 2:49am, Deputy responded to location in reference to an unlawful entry to the residence. An unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the residence by kicking in the front door, but did not remove anything from the residence. The front door was damaged. Investigation is ongoing.

On November 5, 2017 at approximately 7:30pm, I was dispatched to a burglary on Los Tres Vecinos. I met with the victim who stated that today between 3:00pm and 7:00pm an unknown suspect made entry into his house from a bed room window.  Victim said when he arrived home he observed the bed room window was open and a majority of his tools were missing.  Victim said he had already shut the window and looked around his residence.  No evidence was located on scene.  Made contact with surrounding neighbors, but no suspicious activity was observed.  Incident is currently under investigation.
