Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the Cities of Gold Casino in reference to a reported burglary. Contact was made with the victim who stated sometime between 1:00am and 1:30am unknown suspects entered the victims vehicle and took an electronic device from within. This case remains under investigation.

On 12-24-17 a traffic stop was conducted on a 1984 Toyota 4Runner after running a registration check on the vehicle. The registered owner of the vehicle was showing to have a revoked drivers license. I confirmed the driver of the vehicle to be the registered owner and placed him under arrest for driving on a revoked license. The vehicle was seized as per Santa Fe County Ordinance.

On December 23, 2017, Deputies responded to the location in reference to a fraud. Victim reported she responded to an ad on craigslist regarding a rental house. Victim said she wrote a check for $1000 for the rental and when she arrived to the house, the home owner advised his home was not for rent as he just purchased it four months prior. There is no suspect info at this time.

Deputies were dispatched to area in reference to domestic dispute. Upon arrival, victim stated the listed person had driven to her home and became irate after he was not allowed inside. Victim was in fear of the suspect. The suspect was located in his vehicle and showed signs of impairment. The suspect refused testing and was arrested. Suspect refused chemical testing and was charged accordingly.

On 12-23-17 Deputies responded to a single motor vehicle, non-injury crash on Paseo Real just before Calle Debra. Upon making contact with the driver, signs of impairment were observed. After conducting the standardized field sobriety test he was placed under arrest. A blood draw was conducted and the subject was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center accordingly. The individual stated he had taken medication prior to operating his vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to an assault. Upon arrival to the location, Deputies located the vehicle leaving the area and observed the above subject throw a Clamato bud light can out the passenger window. A traffic stop was conducted. Driver eyes were water and Deputy detected an alcoholic beverage from his person. SFST's were conducted, which subject showed signs of impairment. Subject was arrested and refused to submit a breath sample and was charged and booked accordingly. Subject's vehicle was seized.
