Stolen: 2007 GMC Sierra 2500 4 door truck. Black and red two tone paint with custom front and rear bumpers, a headache rack and lift kit. NM license plate: 8545AR (Army Reserve)

Between 7-15-17 and 7-16-17 someone stole the above listed vehicle while it was parked in a dirt lot at the above location.

0217010793 / Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property / 7-24-17

Location: Residence on Senda Artemisia off Old Galisteo Road

Stolen: Samsung 32" television and an L.G. 48" television. Total value of $800.00

On 7-24-17 around 10:00am a neighbor observed a male carrying items from the victim's home and placing them in a white in color Ford passenger car.  He was described as a "thin Hispanic male wearing a New York Yankees hat and mirror sunglasses"  The homeowner was contacted, came home and discovered the male forced entry into the home through a window and stole 2 televisions.

Suspect: Mathew Sanchez(26)

On above date the above listed suspect was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center from the Metro Detention Center on unrelated charges. During the booking process at the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center it was discovered the suspect had a small plastic baggie containing an orange film like substance believed to be Suboxone. Suspect refused to give a statement and was booked for bringing contraband into a place of imprisonment.    


0217010655 – Receiving or Transferring a Stolen Motor Vehicle – 07-21-17

Location: I-25 – Exit 284

 Suspect: Edward Laird – Albuquerque, NM

Charges: - Receiving or Transferring a Stolen Motor Vehicle – Traffic-Control Signal Legend (Red Light) – Improper use of Evidences of Registration - Three (3) Arrest Warrants

Deputy observed the suspect’s vehicle make a right turn on red without coming to a complete stop.  Upon contact with the driver it was learned that he had 3 outstanding arrest warrants for failing to pay fines.  When checked, the registration plate came back to a different model and color of vehicle than it was being displayed on.  A check of the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) showed that the vehicle was stolen out of Albuquerque.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

 


0217010662 – Battery Against a Household Member – 07-21-17

Location: Redtail Rd (Cerrillos)

 Suspect: Carole Kozak - 42 - Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Battery Against a Household Member

The victim and his wife had an argument during which the suspect slapped the victim in the face causing a minor injury and swelling to his upper lip.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

 


0217010720/ Aggravated Battery with Deadly Weapon/ 07/23/17

Location: Northfork- Santa Fe

Suspect: pending

On the above date Deputies responded to a report of a male who had been shot. Upon arrival contact was made with a 29 year old male who had multiple gun shot wounds. The male was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital for treatment for his injuries. This case is currently under investigation.


0217010702-DWI, Possession of a controlled substance, Roadways Laned for Traffic- 7-22-17

Location- Interstate 25 mm 274

Person Arrested- Joseph Daddio 50 yo Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the above area regarding a possible intoxicated driver. Deputies observed a 2002 Ford Explorer failing to maintain its lane of travel.  A traffic stop was initiated and upon contacting the above listed individual, it was found that he was impaired. Subject was placed under arrest and while doing a search of the vehicle, marijuana and methamphetamine was located. Subject was booked accordingly.

Location: 28 Camino Justicia (ADC)

Deputy Lujan was dispatched to listed location in reference to an inmate being found in possession of suboxone.  Upon arrival it was determined the listed inmate was found by jail staff to be in possession of an orange film like substance consistent with suboxone.  Suspect was charged and rebooked accordingly.

Deputies were dispatched to listed location in reference to a burglary.  Upon arrival it was determined unknown suspects gained entry into the residence through an unlocked window and stole the listed items.  Case is under investigation.
