On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to a welfare check at the area of I-25, mile post 271. Upon making contact with the above mentioned male subject, it was discovered that he had an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant was out of New Mexico State Police for failure to pay fines. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the adult detention facility without incident.

Victim reported that a set of 4 rims and tires where taken from his property. They were described as stock aluminum Jeep Rubicon rims and tires. This incident is under investigation.

While conducting an investigation into another matter the suspect returned to her residence driving a 2006 Dodge Caliber. A Driver's License check was conducted and the suspect was found to have a revoked driver's license. Suspect was arrested and the vehicle seized per County Ordinance.

Victim stated she received a call from a male claiming to be a bill collector from PNM. The male told her she was past due on her electric bill and had to pay $770. She paid the past due amount and contacted PNM to confirm the payment was received. That's when PNM advised she had been scammed. This investigation is on going.
