Location: Interstate 25 mile marker 269

Arrested: James Warren, 30-year-old male from Nambe N.M.

On 11-30-16 at about 9:26pm the Sheriff's Office received a report of a reckless driver on I-25 near mile post 269.  Deputies responded to the area and observed a blue Toyota Prius traveling northbound failing to maintain its lane of travel.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was subsequently found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol.  He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.


0216018554 / DWI, Failure to stop (stop sign), Driving on a revoked license / 11-30-16

Deputy assigned: N. Garcia

Commander entering: Sgt. M. Delgado

Location: St. Francis Drive and Rabbit Road

Arrested: Loren Green, 28-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.

On 11-30-16 at about 11:08pm the above defendant failed to stop for a posted stop sign at the above location.  A traffic stop was conducted and she displayed signs of intoxication.  Field sobriety tests were administered and she was subsequently placed under arrest on the above charges.  

 


0216018532-Concealing Identity, No Seatbelt, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia- 11-30-16

Location- Los Pinos Road/ North Paseo De Angel

Person Arrested- Nicholette Miera 26 yo Santa Fe

After a traffic stop was conducted on a 1999 Ford Contour, the above listed person was observed not wearing a seat belt. When Deputy asked for her identification, subject gave a false name.  After a search of the vehicle, a glass pipe was located.  Suspect admitted that the pipe was hers.  She was booked accordingly.


0216018520/ Identity Theft/ 11-30-16

Deputy Assigned: D. Bingham

Commander Entering: Sgt. J. Rodriguez

Location: Willa Cather- Lamy

On 11-30-16 the  victim reported someone opened a credit card using her information. The credit card was for Kroger Stores. The victim was notified by her identity theft security company on 11-17-16. The victim stated the card was opened on 10-17-16. The card did not have any charges made as of time of report. Suspect information is pending at this time.

 


0216018481 / Burglary & Larceny / 11-29-16

Location: 6401 Richards Avenue

Items Taken: Laptop Computer

On above date, Deputies were dispatched to 6401 Richards Avenue in reference to a Burglary.  Upon arrival it was determined someone gained unlawful entry into an office between the dates of November 22, 2016 and November 29, 2016 and stole a laptop computer.  Case is under investigation.


0216018461, Aggavated Battery, Aggravated Assault, 11/29/16

Deputy Assigned:  C. Cullison

Location: Mustang Rd.  Edgewood area

Suspect: Cody Gregory  Age: 23  Edgewood

Deputies responded to a physical fight call and discovered that Cody Gregory had battered a relative (non-domestic) with a wooded food tray after striking at the victim with a steak knife.  Victim sustained non-life threatening lacerations to the head from the food tray.  Suspect fled the scene and was located walking along the highway near the home of the victim.  He was arrested and booked without incident.


0216018417 / Possession of a Controlled Substance / 11-18-16

Location: 28 Camino Justicia (ADC)

Suspect: Ashley Sanchez

On above date Deputy was dispatched to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center in reference to an inmate in possession of a controlled substance.  Upon arrival it was determined inmate Ashley Sanchez was found in possession of a brown tar like substance consistent with heroin.  Suspect was re-booked without further incident.

Deputies responded to the victims home on today's date in reference to burglary which occurred on the November 22nd, 2016.  The suspect(s) entered his garage and stole the above listed item.  No suspect information is currently available, the case is under investigation.


Case#0216018407, Aggravated DWI

Suspect: Baldomero Alvarez-Guerrero, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: White 2006 Nissan 350 Z

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving, Driving While License is Suspended

On Monday, November 28, 2016 at approximately 2:53am, Deputy responded to location in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Deputy observed the vehicle went off the roadway and crashed into a ditch. Deputy identified the driver as the suspect who displayed signs of impairment. The Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and the suspect showed signs of impairment. Suspect was placed under arrest for DWI. Suspect was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and refused to submit to chemical testing. Driver was run through N.C.I.C. and returned with a suspended driver and had at least one prior DWI on his record. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County Seizure Ordinance 2006-5 amended 2013-5.


Case# 0216018408, Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prisoner

Victim: Male, 38, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Eddie Archuleta, 33, Los Lunas, NM

Charges: Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prisoner, Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon.

On Monday, November 28, 2016 at approximately 1:45am, Deputy responded to location in reference to an aggravated battery. Suspect had battered the victim using a makeshift knife. Suspect was already an inmate of the facility. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.
