Deputies responded to the above area regarding a domestic dispute. Upon investigation, it was found that the above listed person had an active arrest warrant for failing to appear in court.  Subject was booked accordingly.

Above listed person was found to have an active warrant for failing to appear in court. Subject was booked accordingly.


0217007164-Possession of a Controlled Substance-5-23-17

Deputy Assigned- T. Lopez

Location- Avant Road/East Frontage

Person Arrested- Juan Armendariz 42 yo Santa Fe

Deputies were sent to a suspicious person call.  Upon making contact with the above listed male he was observed throwing an object from his pocket.  The object was located and found to be narcotics. Subject was booked accordingly.

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center in reference to a warrant service.  The above listed subject had an active warrant for his arrest for failing to comply with conditions set forth by probation.  The male subject was re-booked on the warrant without incident.

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the report of a wanted person in the area of Old Las Vegas Highway and US 285.  A traffic stop was conducted and the above listed individual was taken into custody without incident.  The male individual had an active warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in court regarding a Larceny charge.

Charge: Rio Arriba Magistrate Court Arrest Warrant- Aggravated assault against a household member, Aggravated battery against a household member, Child abuse X2

Above subject was arrested at the above location on an active arrest warrant on the above listed charges. Subject was re- booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Victim stated she was out of town and leaves a key hidden and an unknown person opened her door with the key and took above items.


Case 0217007109-Burglary-Larceny-Criminal Damage to property-05/22/17

Location: La Barbaria

Taken: Nova Peach Amp, Speakers, Misc. Equipment and Damage to the front door($2500)

 Deputies were dispatched to a burglary at above location. I met with the home manager who stated the victim lives in California so she watches the home.  Home manager stated she checks the house every Monday so someone broke into the house between May 15, 2017 and May 22, 2017.  Home manager said the above items were taken from the guess house. While suspect was leaving they crashed into a rock in the driveway leaving their license plate lying on the ground. 


Case 0217007125-Fraud-05/22/17

Victim: 41 Year Old Female

Taken: $2615.00

Deputies were dispatched to Santa Fe Police Department in reference to a fraud that occurred in the county. The victim stated she received a call from Del Norte Credit Union in reference to suspicious charges on her Del Norte debit card ($2,615.00). The credit union cancelled her card and will investigate the fraudulent charges. Although the credit union took are of the issue the victim wanted this incident documented. No suspect information at this time.

Suspect turned himself in on a Bench Warrant from Bernalillo County for shoplifting  over$250 less than $500. Suspect was booked into Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident.
