Person Arrested- Crystal Suazo 29 yo Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the above area regarding a fight. Upon arriving at location, it was found that above listed suspect had unlawfully entered above residence and took items. Suspect was also driving while her license to drive was revoked.  She was arrested and booked accordingly.


0216016083-Agg DWI, Failure to Yield- 10-11-16

Location- Hyde Park Road/ La Entrada

Person Arrested- Kylie McGaha 30 yo Taos

Deputies were dispatched to the above location regarding a motor vehicle crash.  Upon arrival and investigation, it was determined that the above listed person was driving while impaired. Subject was arrested and booked accordingly.


0216016072/ Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card/ 10-11-16

Value: $1, 564.04 (Fraudulent Transactions)

On 10/11/16 the victim reported she was expecting a new credit card in the mail from her bank. On Saturday she received a phone call in regards to suspicious transactions on the credit card. The victim stated she never received the card. The card was used multiple times from Friday (10/07/16) through today. A hold was placed on the card. Suspect information is pending at this time.


0216016055/ Breaking and Entering/ 10-11/16

Location: Santa Fe County Road 74- Tesuque

On 10/11/16 the victim reported someone broke into his residence. The unknown suspect(s) broke the master bedroom window to gain access into the residence. There was dirt on the bed which indicates an individual was able to access the residence. However, there was nothing removed from the residence. Damage to the window was valued at less than a $100.00.


0216016041 / BURGLARY / 10-10-16

Location: Thyme Court, Las Campanas

Suspects: Unknown

Items Stolen: Pending

On the above date Deputy was dispatched  to an alarm .  Upon arrival Deputy found the front door and upstairs door was open. The residence was cleared and no suspects were located.  It was later discovered the homeowner was out of town and Deputy could not determine what items had been stolen.  Access into the residence was gained through an upstairs door however there were no signs of forced entry.  Responsible party for the residence was notified and secured the residence.   No evidence was located at the scene. The case is under investigation.

0216016022/ Death Investigation/ 10/10/16

Location: Santa Fe County Road 14A- Edgewood, NM

Decedent: 60 year old male

On 10/10/16 Deputies were dispatched to the above residence in regards to an unattended death. Upon arrival contact was made with the calling party, who stated he went to check on his employer. When the calling party arrived at the residence, he found his employed deceased. The decedent has a lengthy medical history. There was no signs of foul play. Cause of death in pending.


0216015972 / Possession of a controlled substance to wit: Heroin, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Possession of burglary tools

Location: Agua Fria/Lopez Lane

Arrested: Nestor Rodriguez, 25-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 10-09-16 at about 2:30am Mr. Rodriguez was observed walking in the middle of the roadway on Agua Fria Street carrying a backpack.  He threw the backpack over a wall prior to Deputies contacting him.  He was detained and the backpack was located.  The backpack contained Heroin, drug paraphernalia, burglary tools and two car stereos.  Mr. Rodriguez was arrested on the above charges and an investigation into possible auto burglaries in the area is ongoing.

Victim: 71 Year Old Male

Location: farmers Pond Road/ Los Pinos Road

Taken: Black Air Compressor

On the above date the above victim stated sometime between 9:00am and 2:00pm on October 6, 2016 an unknown person removed the compressor from the back of his pickup truck. The victim said the compressor was taken while he was performing maintenance on his “skidster” tractor to work on Farmer’s Pond road. The pickup truck that the compressor was taken from was parked about 50 feet away from where he was working on the tractor.  The victim described the compressor as being black, 2 horse power, 2 tanks, 150psi and having a custom weld on it. This case is under investigation at this time

Taken: Eight(8) pairs of Jordan's Variety of Colors, PlayStation three(3). Value 1280.00

Victim stated between Thursday October 4, 2016 at 5:00PM and today October 8, 2016 an unknown person(s) entered the residence by cutting a window screen and forcing open the window causing $70.00 in damage. Case is under investigation.


Case #: 0216015872 - Possession of Alcohol by a minor - 10-07-16

Location: Buffalo Thunder Casino

Suspect: Christian Leyba-Moya – 19 Chimayo, NM

Charge: Possession of Alcohol by a minor

A 19 year old intoxicated male was located at the Buffalo Thunder Casino.  The suspect was observed on surveillance video being served by two bartenders who failed to verify his age.  A breath test showed the male to be twice the legal limit for the operation of a motor vehicle.

The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

The two bartenders will be issued summonses to appear in court for serving the underage suspect alcoholic beverages.
