Deputies observed Ms. Mendez operating her vehicle at inconsistent speeds. During a welfare check, Ms. Mendez showed signs of impairment. Ms. Mendez provided a breath sample of more than three times the legal limit. She was transported and booked accordingly.

On Sunday, December 28, 2025, deputies took a report of a burglary which occurred at the above location. The vicitm advised the incident occurred in the afternoon hours on December 28. At this time, suspect information is pending and this case remains under investigation.

Deputies were attempting to locate a hit-and-run vehicle, for the Santa Fe Police Department. The vehicle and driver were located. During the interaction, Mr. Perez became physically aggressive and attempted to choke the Deputy. The Deputy was able to escape the hold and placed Mr. Perez in handcuffs. He was booked accordingly.

Subject was stopped for being unable to maintain a single lane of travel. SIgns of intoxication were noted. Subject submitted to SFST's and showed signs of impairment. He was arrested and submitted to a breath test which revealed a .13, .13 BrAC. He was booked.
