Arrested- Joel Hansen (39 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Deputy Blea made contact with the above individuals during a welfare check, and they were each found to have multiple outstanding warrants. Both were arrested and booked at ADC.
Case #2025002279 Battery against a household member

Arrested: Devin Roybal, 25 YOA male, Santa Fe.
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Once on scene the victim was observed with signs of having been battered. Deputies contacted the suspect and placed him under arrest. The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility accordingly.
Case #2025002273 Driving while license revoked, Careless driving

Location: 4500 block NM 14, Santa Fe
Arrested: Christopher Belian, 28 YOA male, Santa Fe.
Deputies observed a vehicle driving in a careless manner on wet/snowy roadway. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver was found to have a revoked license due to a previous DWI. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility accordingly.
Case 2025002265/ DWI, Speeding/ 4-19-25

Arrested: Santiago Apodaca 22 YOM
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding. Upon contact with the driver, signs of impairment were observed. SFSTs were conducted, and further signs of impairment were observed. The driver was arrested and submitted to a breath test resulting in .14. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Arrested: Danelle Mares, 30 YOF
Deputies made contact with the subject during a traffic stop. The subject had two active warrants for her arrest, one out of Santa Fe Municipal Court for failure to appear on traffic offenses, display of registration, unlawful use of a license, driving while suspended, and mandatory financial responsibility charges. The second warrant was for failure to appear on traffic offenses, expired registration, no driver's license, and no insurance charges. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Arrested: Aniceto Chavez, 47 YOM
Deputies stopped a vehicle due to a suspended registration. Upon contact with the driver, signs of impairment were observed. SFSTs were conducted, and further signs of impairment were observed. The driver was arrested and provided two breath samples, resulting in .26. The driver was booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Arrested- Anita Swanson (63 year old female/ Abiquiu)
Deputies conducted a welfare check on a vehicle. Upon contact with the driver, she displayed signs of impairment. She refused SFST's and refused to submit to chemical testing. She was arrested and booked into ADC.

Arrested: Manuel Dominguez, 50 YOM
Deputies responded to a reckless driver call for service. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle in the parking lot of La Famillia Center off College Ave. Upon contact with the driver it was learned his drivers license was revoked due to a previous DUI. The driver also had a warrant for his arrest out of the Santa Fe Magistrate Court for failure to appear on a DUI charge. The subject was arrested and booked into Satna Fe ADC without incident.
2025002244/Aggravated DWI/04-17-2025

Location: 17200 U.S. 84/285, Santa Fe, NM
Arrested: King James Varela, 25 YOM
On Thursday, April 17, 2025, deputies were patrolling the above area when they observed a vehicle that was failing to maintain its lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the above driver. The driver displayed signs of impairment and he consented to SFSTs. Deputies observed additional signs of impairment and he was placed under arrest. The driver was read the NM Implied Consent Advisory and he consented to chemical testing. The driver was transported to the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office where he provided a breath sample. The sample provided was .16. He was subsequently booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
