Vehicle was stopped for speeding, Driver was driving on an invalid-revoked license. Driver also had a warrant out for his arrest. Driver was arrested and booked into SF ADC with out incident.

Arrested: Frank Ulices Dominguez-Castillo, 25 YOM

Deputies conducted traffic stop. Upon contact confirmed warrant out of Magistrate Court. Subject taken into custody and booked accordingly at SFCADC. 


Case#2026002498 / Unattended Death / 5-7-26

Assigned: G. Perez

Entering: Sgt. Hernandez 

Location: Prairiewood Loop, Edgewood 

Deceased: 73 YOM

Deputies responded to the location in reference to a welfare check on an elderly person. Upon arrival deputies located the decedent inside his home. Deputies cleared the residence and did not find any signs of foul play. The decedent appears to have passed away of natural causes. The Office of the Medical Investigator was contacted and requested to the scene, after completion of the investigation the decedent was transported by a local funeral home.


Case #2026002488, 2489, 2490/ Warrant Arrest x3/ 5/6/26

Location- 2600 Block of Cerrillos Rd

Arrested- Jerome Jaramillo (33 year old male/ Santa Fe)

Deputies contacted Jerome after he was seen jay-walking across Cerrillos Rd. He was found to have 3 outstanding warrants and was arrested. He was later booked at the SF ADC.


Case #2026002487/ Aggravated DUI/ 5/6/26

Assigned- Deputy L. Cintron

Entering- Corporal D. Moore

Location- NM 14/ NM 599

Arrested- Dayna Arras (26 year old female/ Santa Fe)

On May 6, 2026, deputies were dispatched to NM-14 and NM-599 to assist the Edgewood Police Department who had conducted a traffic stop on a wrong-way driver. Upon making contact with the driver, she displayed signs of impairment. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered, and the driver was subsequently placed under arrest. Chemical testing was later conducted providing breath two breath samples of .16, and .16. The driver was transported and booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center (SFADC) without further incident.


Case #2026002466/ Aggravated DUI/ 5/5/26

Location- Calle Encanto (Tesuque)

Arrested- Samuel Hotchkiss (58 year old male/ Tesuque)

Deputies were investigating a domestic disturbance at a residence when Mr. Hotchkiss arrived in a vehicle. He displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI. He was transported to the SFSO where he provided breath samples of .16/ .16 BRAC. He was later booked at the SF ADC.


Case #2026002462/ Battery on a Peace Officer x2, Criminal Damage to Property (over $1000), Resisting Evading Obstructing an Officer/ 5/5/26

Assigned- Deputy L. Abeyta

Entering- Corporal D. Moore

Location- Camino Urban (La Cienega)

Arrested- Estevan Mayorga Garcia (24 year old male/ Santa Fe)

Deputies were conducted a welfare check after suspect sent threatening message to the mother of their child. While on scene, the suspect became aggravated and deputies tried calming him down. The suspect pushed deputies and began to fight them when they attempted to take him into custody. Both deputies sustained minor injuries and were treated at the hospital. The suspect was arrested and while be transported, he kicked the door of the deputy's vehicle multiple times, causing the door to be damaged. He was eventually booked at the SF ADC.  


Case #2026002459/ Shoplifting over $250, Abuse of a Child/ 5/5/26

Location- 3550 Zafarano Dr (Target)

Arrested- Amy Reynaud (37 year old female/ Albuquerque)

Summonsed- Alexandra Windish (27 year old female/ Albuquerque)

On 5/5/26 deputies working a proactive enforcement operation responded to the Target at 3550 Zafarano for a shoplifting in progress. Asset protection personnel were monitoring two females concealing merchandise. One female, Amy Reynaud, was concealing merchandise in a cooler (which was in a shopping cart). The other female, Alexandra Windish, was concealing merchandise in a stroller (which contained a baby). The females were also seen price tag swapping for items lower in cost. They paid for some items in self checkout, and then exited the store where they were contacted by deputies. The females were detained and the merchandise was recovered. The total value of merchandise stolen/recovered was $371.41. Amy was arrested for Shoplifting. Alexandra and her baby were released, and she will be issued a Criminal Summons for Shoplifting and Abuse of a Child. A Statewide Central Intake referral was made with CYFD.


Case #2026002435 // Unlawful Taking of a MV, Criminal Damage - 5/5/2026

Location: Prarie Dog Loop 

Stolen: White single cab dump truck, NM registration WD133427

Sometime over the weekend an individual made entry into a construction yard and took a 2000 model,White Sterling A9500 model Dump Truck. The key for this truck had been left on the sun visor with the cab unlocked. The person left in the truck thru the front locked gates, after they cut the company padlock off and replaced it with a secondary lock. Case is under investigation. 


Case #2026002423 Burglary

Location: 100 Block Old Windmill Trail, Santa Fe

Summons: Caleb Lopez, 26 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies responded to the location in reference to a burglary. Deputies were advised the victim observed his residence had been broken into and items had been taken. The victim received a message from the suspect stating he had broken into the residence. A summons will be issued for the suspect.
