At about 0345 hours Deputy Christopherson had a black Honda Accord, with no lights on, pass him at approximately 100 MPH on Rodeo Rd near Richards. Deputy Christopherson attempted a traffic stop and the vehicle fled westbound on Rodeo Rd, running the red light at Cerrillos. Deputy Christopherson lost visual of the vehicle near Airport Rd and Lopez Ln. Deputy Olivas located the vehicle approximately 1 minute later, blacked out turning northbound on Camino Vista Aurora from Rufina and attempted a traffic stop. Due to the vehicle’s reckless driving, a pursuit was authorized. Stop sticks were deployed on NM 599 near Jaguar, deflating the front driver side tire. The pursuit entered I25 southbound, and when the vehicle lost the front driver side tire, it exited at the 271 and stopped. 5 male subjects exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Ezekial Larranaga and Santos Atencio were quickly apprehended by Deputy Olivas and Corporal Moore. Through an investigation, deputies learned the identity of the driver as Deryk Serrano, and learned that the suspect’s girlfriend would be picking him up from a nearby property. The suspect’s girlfriend was seen leaving the area in a vehicle and the vehicle was stopped. The suspect, Deryk Serrano, was located hiding in the trunk. He displayed signs of impairment and refused to submit to a breath sample. He was transported to the hospital where a search warrant was obtained for a blood draw. Following the blood draw he was booked at the SF ADC.

Agua Fria/Velarde Ln., Santa Fe

Deputy Flores conducted a traffic stop, during contact with the driver Deputy Flores observed signs of impairment. A DWI investigation was conducted and the driver was arrested for DWI. Breath samples were a 0.12 and 0.13.

Decedant - 59YOM

Eldorado Area, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched in reference to a welfare check requested by a neighbor. The homeowner had reportedly not been seen for a number of weeks and their mailbox was full. Upon arrival, deputies detected an odor consistent with decomposition. Entry was made and a male was found deceased in the residence from a suspected self inflicted gunshot wound.

Location- 600 Block of NM 76

Arrested- Destiny Escobar (28 year old female/ Santa Fe)

Destiny was contacted during a traffic stop for driving with no illuminated tail lamps. It was discovered that she was driving on a revoked driver's license and she was arrested. She was later booked at the SF ADC.


Case #2026001751 // Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle - 3/27/2026

Deputy Assigned: J. Corley

Location: Grasslands Trail

Arrested: Stephen Aranda (37 YO)

Ford Motor Credit sent a repossession company out to Stephen Aranda's place of employment to reposes his vehicle. Aranda turned it over without causing problems, but followed the tow truck to where the car was drooped off and stole it back. Aranda was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location: Rabbit Road / Falcon Way

Arrested: Daeja-Rose Graham (21 YOF)

Deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle for several traffic infractions. Ms. Graham showed signs of impairment and agreed to perform SFSTs. Ms. Graham was subsequently placed under arrest and agreed to proide a breath sample. She was booked accordingly.

Eldorado area, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched in reference to a larceny. Upon arrival victim advised his wife went to put more money in the safe, she discovered that the $16,000 they had saved up was missing. The money was last seen fifteen days ago. No signs of forced entry were observed. No suspects at this time.


Case #2026001723 - 1724 / Warrant Service - Possession of a Controlled Substance / 03/26/2026

Deputy Assigned: A. Pool

Supervisor: Lt. V. Baca

Location: 2700 BLK Agua Fria

Arrested: Florencio Delgado-Dominguez (70 YOM)

Deputy made contact with Mr. Delgado and discovered he had an active arrest warrant. During a search after the arrest, narcotics were found to be in the possession of Mr. Delgado. He was charged and booked accordingly.

Industrial Road/Siler Road, Santa Fe

Deputy conducted a traffic, during the stop the driver was identified as having a revoked license and did not have an interlock device installed. He was arrested and booked without incident.

Arrested - Jasmine Moya 37YOF

Avenida Canada, Espanola

Subject waved down a deputy while conducting patrols. During the encounter the subjected was identified to have a failure to appear warrant (traffic offenses) for her arrest. She was taken into custody without incident.
