Deputies observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on NM 76. The license plate reader captured an image of the vehicle's registration plate and the vehicle was located. The driver showed signs of impairment and SFSTs were conducted. The driver was arrested and refused to provide a breath sample and a blood warrant executed. The suspect was booked without further incident.

Additional Case #2026005271 (Warrant Service)

On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, deputies responded to the above area for a report of a physical domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, it was discovered the above suspect had battered several household members. Deputies attempted to make contact with the suspect but he initially refused to exit his residence. He subsequently complied with commands to exit his residence and he was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility, where he was booked accordingly and without further incident.

Deputies made contact with the reporting party advising someone stole his 2008 Dodge Journey while he was out of town. The reporting party believes an acquiantance might have taken it without permission. At this time suspect(s) iinformation is unknown.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop after recognizing a wanted individual. The above listed passenger was identifed, while exiting the vehicle the male fled on foot and was captured shortly after. The male had three active warrants. He was arrested and booked without incident.

Agent conducted a traffic stop on subject and confirmed he was wanted for failure to comply with conditions of release on original charge of possession of a controlled substance. Subject was placed under arrest, transported and booked into Santa Fe County Jail.

Additional Charge: Driving while license is revoked

On Monday, October 10, 2026, deputies responded to the above area to assist the Tesuque Police Department with a driver who was concealing their identity. Upon arrival, contact was made with the Tesuque officers. They advised the above suspect was observed speeding on U.S. 84/285. A traffic stop was conducted and the suspect refused to identify himself. The suspect's identity was later learned and it was discovered his NM driver's license was revoked, due to a previous DWI. The suspect was placed under arrest, and was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, he was booked accordingly.

On Monday, October 5, 2026, deputies responded to the above location for a report of an inmate with several active warrants. Upon arrival, a total of three warrants were confirmed to be valid. He was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
