Two inmates got into an altercation at the detention center. Victim was burned by a hot cup of coffee during the incident. Suspect was re-booked at the facility.

Location: Calle Manzano

Deputies responded to the address due to the home owner reporting items stolen and damaged on the property. Suspect took tools, skirting for the home, and items for the utilities. Case is under investigation. 


Case #2026000758, 759, 760/ Agg DWI, Warrant Arrest x2/ 2/6/26

Location- Agua Fria/ Siler Park Rd

Arrested- Gerardo Montellano-Soto (42 year old male/ Santa Fe)

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle after it was seen driving 10 mph in a 35 mph zone and was veering from left to right. The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DWI. He was also found to have two outstanding warrants. He was transported to the SFSO where he provided two breath samples of .18 / .18 BRAC. He was later booked at the SF ADC.


Case #2026000755/ DUI, Careless Driving, Failure to Give Notice of Crash/ 2/5/26

Assigned- Deputy M. Ward

Entering- Corporal D. Moore

Location- Ute Circle/ Old Las Vegas Hwy

Arrested- Sheila Alexander (53 year old female/ Santa Fe)

Ms. Alexander was involved in a crash, and attempted to leave the area, but her vehicle was stuck. A concerned citizen called law enforcement and deputies went to check on her. Upon contact, she displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI. Due to the odor of marijuana in her vehicle, deputies believe she was high. After providing a breath sample at the SFSO, she was transported to the hospital for a blood draw. She was later booked at the SF ADC.


Case #2026000756/ 757/ Warrant Arrest x2/ 2/6/26

Assigned- Deputy J. Flores Ramirez

Entering- Corporal D. Moore

Location- NM 76/ Pacheco St

Arrested- Fred Archuleta (22 year old male/ Santa Cruz)

Deputies contacted Fred on a welfare check and he was found to have two outstanding warrants. He was arrested and later booked at the SF ADC.

Suspect: Nick Vargas

Deputy was dispatched to the above address in reference to a Criminal Damage to Property. Santa Fe County water believed the water line had been tampered with by Nick Vargas causing the water line to break. 


Case #2026000745/ Burglary, Breaking and Entering/ 2/5/2026

Victim: 29 YOF

Deputies were dispatched to the above location n reference to a burglary.  Victim estimated approximately $19,700 worth of items were stolen. Property stolen included furniture, kitchen appliances, tv’s, tools, art, musical instruments, and equipment.         


Case #2026000744/ Fraud/ 2/5/2026

Victim: 84 YOF

On February 5, 2026, Deputy was dispatched to a phone call in reference to a fraud.  Victim was contacted by a male Richard Williams claiming to be FBI advising victim her identity had been stolen.  Suspect had victim send him a total of $70,230.00 via wire transfer and gift cards.   


Case #2026000754 // Aggravated Battery, Child Abuse, Criminal Damage to Property - 2/5/2026

Deputy Assigned: R. Ramos

Location: Aaron Y Veronica

Arrested: Andrew Herrera (28 YO)

 Deputies were dispatched to the above listed address in reference to domestic disturbance. Upon investigation, it was determined the offender strangled the victim during a physical attack. The offender also struck an 8-year-old child who was on scene. The offender also broke the victim’s glasses during the physical attack which was valued under 500 US dollars. The offender was arrested and transported to SFADC without incident.

Arrested: Agustina Miller (43 YOF/ Santa Fe)

Location: US 84/285 

Agustina was contacted during a traffic stop.  It was discovered Agustina had an active warrant for (FTA) for Speeding.  Agustina was arrested and booked at the SF ADC
