During the course of a traffic stop contact was made with the driver, who had an outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility, where he was booked accordingly.
Case #2026002864, 2865/ Lights Required on Bicycle, Resisting Evading, Bomb Threat, Concealing ID, Warrant Arrest/ 5/26/26

Arrested- Michael Armijo (34 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Deputies were conducting routine patrol when a traffic stop was attempted on a bicyclist, who was observed riding without the required lighting equipment. The male fled and a short foot pursuit ensued, after which the suspect was apprehended. While deputies were attempting to handcuff the male, he exclaimed that he had a grenade and he was going to pull the pin. After being handcuffed, no grenade was located. While being identified, Michael initially provided the name of his cousin. His actual identity was found after a short time and was found to have an outstanding warrant. He was later transported and booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center without further incident.
Case #2026002866/ DUI, Failure to Maintain Lane/ 5/26/26

Arrested- Antonio Batulat (36 year old male/ Espanola)
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for failing to maintain its lane. Upon contact with the driver, signs of impairment were observed. Following SFST's, the driver was arrested for DUI and transported to the SFSO where he provided breath samples of .08/.09 BRAC. He was later booked at the SF ADC.
Case #2026002859, 2861, 2862/ Shoplifting under $250, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Warrant Arrest x2/ 5/26/26

Arrested- Crystal Martinez (41 year old female/ Santa Fe)
Deputies working a proactive enforcement operation were contacted by Target loss prevention in reference to a female concealing items in her purse. Deputies set up outside the Target waiting for her to exit. The female exited the store with the unpaid merchandise and was contacted by deputies. The stolen merchandise was recovered, and she was found to have two outstanding warrants. She was arrested and transported to the SF ADC. When her purse was searched at ADC, a bag of suspected methamphetamine was located. The narcotics were transported to the SFSO where they were weighed and field tested. The results were presumptive positive for methamphetamine. She was subsequently charged.

Arrested: Noe Manjarrez Villalba (25 YO)
Deputies were dispatched to a vehicle that had crashed. Upon making contact with the driver, he attempted to flee several times, pushed the Deputy, and was non-compliant. Suspect was found to be driving under the influence, and also had a revoked drivers license due to a prior DUI. Suspect was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, and booked at the detention center.

Arrested: Margaret Flores (69 YO)
Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at the above location regarding the suspect attacked the victim and the granddaughter. The suspect knocked the victim's eyeglasses off leaving a bruise on his left nose while wrapping her legs around the victim's legs and attempting to hit the victim in the groin. The suspect was arrested and booked into SFADC.

Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at the above location. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the victim. The victim advised he had been slapped and had a red mark on his left neck. Suspect was arrested and booked to SFADC.

Decedant: Maria De Jesus Salyer
Deputies responded to the location in reference to a unattended death. Upon arrival deputies found 64 YOF victim deceased in her residence. Office Of Medical Investigations was contacted and responded. There were no signs of foul play, appers to have been deceased several days. Currently under investigation.

Deputies were requested to the location by EMS. Upon arrival Deputies learned the decedent had passed away days prior. Deputies conducted an investigation and requested the Office of the Medical Investigator to the scene. Foul play is not suspected at this time, the case is under investigation.
Case#2026002844 / D.W.I , Reckless Driving / 5-26-26

Location: Cities of Gold Road
Arrested: Arthur Isaacson 73 YOM
Deputies responded to the location in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival contact was made with the driver involved, who showed signs of impairment. Deputies conducted a D.W.I investigation and ultimately placed the driver under arrest. The driver was evaluated by medical personnel and transported to SFADC, where he was booked accordingly.
