Deputies responded to the location in reference to a simple battery. Deputies were advised the suspect touched the victim in a rude, insolent, or angry manner. A summons was issued for the suspect.

On Monday, May 4, 2026, deputies responded to the above area for a report of a fraud. Contact was made with the victim and they advised someone had obtained a valid check and had check washed it to show a different amount and name. The value of the check, which was later cashed, was over $2,500. This case remains under investigation.

Stolen: 700 Feet of Copper Wire
On Monday, May 4, 2026, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a larceny. Upon arrival, it was found unknown persons cut a fence to gain access to the property. Once inside, they stole approximately 700 feet of copper wire. In the process, they caused almost $25,000 in damages. Case remains under investigation.

Deputies responded to the location in reference to an ambulance assistance call for service. Upon arrival deputies conducted an investigation and determined foul play was not suspected. OMI and a local funeral home was requested to the scene for transport.

Subject was identified during a traffic stop and had an active warrant for failure to appear for no insurance. He was taken into custody and booked without incident.

Arrested: Sara Tafoya, 50 YOF
On Sunday, May 3, 2026, deputies responded to the above area for a welfare check. Upon arrival, contact was made with the above female. During the investigation, it was discovered she had an active/valid bench warrant. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, she was booked accordingly and without incident.

Arrested: Christian Dominguez (21 YOM)
Deputy conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle for an infraction. Signs of impairment were observed and Mr. Dominguez refused to perform all testing. He was transported for a blood draw, subsequent to obtaining a warrant. Mr. Dominguez was booked accordingly.

Arrested: Lorenzo Juanico (21 YOM)
Deputies performed a welfare check with a vehicle stalled on the side of the road. Mr. Juanico displayed signs of impairment and a DUI investigation was conducted. Mr. Juanico was ultimately placed under arrest and booked accordingly.

Missing: Juvenile Female 14 YOA.
Deputies responded to the location in reference to a missing person. Deputies were advised a juvenile had gotten into an argument with her mother and left the location. The juvenile was entered into NCIC as missing.

Subject was involved in a crash, and during the investigation it was determined he had a valid revoked license, but no interlock inside the vehicle. He was arrested for the license, and issued citations for the crash.
