On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, deputies made contact with a victim who advised they were defrauded out of over $2,000. The victim stated they believed someone had accessed their credit cards during a recent move. This case remains under investigation.

Arrested- Amanda Ahumada (38 year old female/ Santa Fe)
Location- Cerrillos/ Siler
Deputies observed Amanda Jay-walking across Cerrillos Rd and she was contacted. She was found to have an outstanding warrant and she was arrested. She was later booked at the SF ADC.
Case #2026004050 - Fraud, Forgery - 8/4/26
Assiged: Deputy K. Whyte
Entering: Cpl. J. Soriano
Location: Jornada Loop, Eldorado
Deputies made contact with the victim advising two checks were made to a construction company and an individual in a fradulent manner. The total for both checks was approximately $1500. Case is under investigation.
Case #2026004044 // Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle - 8/3/2026

Location: Old Las Vegas Highway
Stolen: 2019 Ford F350 - NM CJBG25
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a vehicle that had been stolen from the side of the road. Vehicle was locked at the time it was taken. Case is under investigation.

Victim: 55 Y.O.F.
Deputies made contact with the victim, who reported she lost a backpack with a laptop, cologne, battery packs, and business cards inside of it. She was able to track the computer and deputies attempted to locate it but were unsucessfull.
SFSO Case# 2026004048 - Unattended Death

Location: La Puebla rd/ El Sitio rd
Deceased: 69 Y.O.M.
Deputies responded to the area in reference to a male that was not concsious and not breathing. Deputies arrived on scene and there were no signs of foul play and next of kin was on scene.
Case #2026004036 - Possession of Controlled Substance - 8/3/26

Location: Calle Kryshana, Santa Fe
Arrested: Jade Wilson 43 YOF
Deputies arrested Ms. WIlson on outstanding arrest warrants. During their encounter with Ms. Wilson they located narcotic substance on her person. She was arrested and booked for possession of a controlled susbtance.

Location: Laguna Ln, Eldorado
Victim reported multiple items missing such as, designer purses, Airpods, Sony headphones and clothing, valued approximately $5,000. This occured after the termination of her housekeeping employees. Case is under investigation.

Unknown suspect(s) have been utilizing the victim's electricity power at the property without consent. Creating a usage bill of close to $2500. Case is under investigation.

Location- Calle Kryshana/ Camino Tierra Real
Deputies contacted Jade at her residence in reference to her 4 outstanding warrants. After she was arrested, deputies located narcotics on her. She was transpored and booked at the SF ADC.
