Deputies responded to the address in reference to a male not conscious and not breathing. Deputies observed the decedent was beyond life saving measures. The Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI) was contacted and responded to the scene. No signs of foul play were observed.

Following a traffic stop and subsequent arrest of Mr. Zamora, contact was made with probation and parole. Probation advised they would be sending an arrest and hold order for Mr. Zamora for violating probation. He was booked accordingly.

Arrested: Marylou Montoya (42 YOF)
Deputies conducted a traffic with a vehicle for an infraction. It was discovered Ms. Montoya was operating the vehicle while her license was revoked due to a previous DUI. She was placed under and and booked accordingly.

Arrested: Ernest Zamora (29 YOM)
Deputies conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle for infractions. Mr. Zamora appeared to be under the influence but refused SFST's. He did agree to provide breath samples. Mr. Zamora was then placed in custody for several charges. He provided breath samples nearly three times over the legal limit. He was transported and booked accordingly.

Arrested: Hector Ariel Galvan-Arias (33 YOA)
Deputies conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle for traffic infractions. It was discovered Mr. Galvan-Arias was operating the vehicle while his license was revoked. He was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.

Decedent: 59 YOF
Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a cardiac arrest. Medical personnel were on scene and advised the patient was beyond life-saving measures. The decedent was battling the flu and was said to abuse alcohol. OMI responded to the location and condcuted an investiagtion. No signs of foul play were identified.

Arrested: Alexander Law (22 YOM)
Deputies conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle for traffic infractions. While making contact with Mr. Law, an open, alcoholic beverage was observed in a cupholder. Mr. Law agreed to perform SFST's and displayed signs of impairment. Mr. Law was placed under arrest and agreed to provide breath samples. Following the breath sample, Mr. Law was booked accordingly.

On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, deputies responded to the above area for a report of a burglary. Upon arrival, contact was made with the above male. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered he had an active bench warrant. Once it was confirmed to be valid, he was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility where he was booked accordingly and without incident.

Location: 28500 Interstate 25, Santa Fe, NM
Arrested: Jaelyn Bates, 22 YOF
On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, deputies responded to the above location for a report of a reckless driver who had crashed into another vehicle. It was also reported the above suspect had struck the victim's vehicle several times while traveling north on Interstate 25. Contact was made with the suspect, whose vehicle was disabled. She displayed signs of impairment and she consented to SFSTs. She was subsequently placed under arrest and she was read the NM Implied Consent Advisory. The suspect did consent to chemical testing. She was transported to the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office. There, she provided two breath samples which were over double the legal limit. She was later booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
