Deputy conducted a traffic stop on an individual. He was identified and found to have 3 active warrants for his arrest for failure to appear for traffic violations. Subject was booked at the detention facility.

Arrested: Anthony Lovato (39 YO)

Deputies were called to assist probation and parole with an individual with an active warrant. Warrant was for a violation on the original charge of aggravated DWI. Subject was booked at the detention facility.

Entering- Corporal D. Moore

Location- Cerrillos/ Camino Carlos Rey

Arrested- Damian Romero (29 year old male/ Santa Fe)

Deputies contacted Damian after he was seen riding a bicycle in the roadway with no lighting equipment. He was found to have an outstanding warrant and was later booked at the SF ADC.

Location- Cerrillos/ Camino Carlos Rey

Arrested- Melanie Rebolloso (41 year old female/ Santa Fe)

Deputies contacted Melanie during a welfare check and she was found to have an outstanding warrant. She was arrested and later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested: De'Allerick Wicks (35 YO)

Deputy made contact with subject during a traffic stop. Driver was found to have a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic violation. He was arrested and taken to the detention center. 


Case #2026003202/Battery on a Peace Officer

Location: Camino Justicia

Subject: Stephen Panjota 34 YOM

On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at approximately 0515 hours, Deputies were dispatched to 28 Camino Justicia for a battery on a peace officer. Upon arrival, Sergeant Chavez explained one of his officers had been struck by an inmate, Stephen Pantoja, and showed  Deputies the video of the incident. Officer Magana stated Mr. Pantoja was in holding cell E82 and wanted to shower. Officer Magana said once he opened the door, Mr. Pantoja stepped outside, raised his right hand and struck Officer Magana in the left arm. Mr. Pantoja is charged with Battery on a Peace Officer.

Arrested - Desiree Garcia 40YOF

Agua Fria, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies spoke to the victim who advised his girlfriend battered him and threw a rock at his vehicle, cracking the windshield and scratching the paint. The victim had injuries consistent with being battered and the damages were observed to the vehicle. The suspect was subsequently arrested.


Case #2026003197 Driving while license revoked, No proof of insurance, Expired registration

Location: 172 mile marker of US 84/285, Santa Fe

Arrested: Erick Alcala Velasquez, 24 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the location to assist Tesuque Tribal Police with a traffic stop. Deputies were advised Tesuque PD stopped a vehicle with a non-Native American driver. The drive was driving on a revoked license due to a previous DWI. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility accordingly.

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a breaking and entering. Deputies were advised unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a back door of the property. It does not appear any items were taken from the residence.
