Santa Fe Area

Deputies attempted a traffic stop on a possible drunk/reckless driver and the vehicle fled. The vehicle was eventually stopped near Cordova/Don Diego a foot pursued and both occupants were arrested and booked. 

Driver was charged with above listed charges and the passenger had six (6) active arrest warrants. 


Case #2025006740/DWI/11-17-2025

Location: Sheriff Road, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Christopher Martinez, 31 YOM

Additional Charges: Resisting, Evading or Obstructing an Officer

On Monday, November 17, 2025, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the above suspect, who was the driver. The suspect displayed signs of impairment and upon attempting to place him under arrest, he resisted and attempted to flee on foot. The suspect was taken into custody and he was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, he was booked accordingly and without further incident.

Location: Condesa Road, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Unknown

On Monday, November 17, 2025, deputies made contact with a victim who advised they were contacted by an unknown male. The male identified himself as a member of the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office, and he told the victim they had two active warrants. To clear up the warrants, the victim sent the male $1500 in gift card payments. As a reminder, deputies will never call and request payment to clear up a warrant. This case remains under investigation.


Case #2025006744/Aggravated Assault/11-17-2025

Location: 7 Colina Drive, Eldorado, NM

On Monday, November 17, 2025, deputies made contact with a victim who advised they were assaulted while attempting to buy a jacket from someone on Facebook. The victim said after giving the suspect money, the suspect fled the area. The victim located the suspect and he confronted him about wanting the jacket. The suspect responded by threatening the victim with a knife. This case remains under investigation.


Case # 2025006696/Battery/11-15-2025

Location: Aaron y Veronica, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Danielle C De Baca, 35 YOF

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a call of disorderly conduct. Upon arrival, an investigation found that the above suspect battered another person. She was placed under arrest and was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Arrested- Percy Rodas-Mazariegos (38 year old male/ Santa Fe)

Location- Rufina St

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for driving on two flat tires. Upon contacting the driver, he showed signs of impairment and he was arrested. He was also found to have an outstanding warrant. After providing a breath sample at the SFSO, he was booked at the SF ADC.

Traffic stop was conducted for careless driving, during contact with the driver signs of impairement were observed. DWI investigation was conducted and driver was arrested.

Arrested- Edson Lira (27 year old male/ Santa Fe)

Location- Airport Rd

Deputies contacted Edson during a welfare check. He was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested. He was later booked at the SF ADC.

Stolen: 2000, Bumper Pull Trailer (NM-16400TRF

The victim advised someone stole his 2000 model, home made / custom built, 10 foot long trailer. The unknown person(s) entered the property by cutting the chain link fence next to the padlock on the gate. This occurred sometime between October 4, 2025 and October 18, 2025.


Case #2025006672 / Aggravated Burglary - Larceny - Criminal Damage / 11/14/2025

Victim: 61 YOA

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a burglary. The victim reported between June and July 2025, unknown individuals gained unlawful entry in the residence and stole multiple firearms. Value is estimated at $1,550.00.
