0217000165/ Burglary-Commercial/ 1-04-17

Stolen: Two Rubbermaid Tubs containing miscellaneous electrical parts.

Value: $1.000.00

On 01-04-17 the victim reported sometime between the middle of December and today (01-04-17) unknown person(s) cut the  lock on his storage unit and removed the above listed items. Suspect information is pending at this time.


0217000147 / Possession of a controlled substance (Heroin) / 01-03-17

Deputy assigned: A. Gutierrez

Location: Santa Fe County Jail

Arrested: Jose Esquibel, 40-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 01-03-16 Mr. Esuqibel was found in possession of suspected Heroin while being searched by Corrections Officers at the jail after a body scan located suspected contraband.  He was booked on the above charge.

Location: US84/285 mile post 177 (Pojoaque N.M.)

Arrested: Spenser Phillips, 27-year-old male from Albuquerque N.M.

A traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Phillips and he was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of the Second Judicial District Court.  He was taken into custody without incident.

Arrested: Thomas Martinez, 46-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

 

Mr. Martinez was arrested on an outstanding District Court warrant for his arrest while he was already incarcerated at the Santa Fe County Jail on another charge.

Suspect(s): Unknown

On above date Deputy Jaramillo was dispatched to the area of Valle Vista in reference to an auto burglary.  Upon arrival it was discovered unknown suspects made entry into the victim's unlocked vehicle and stole a purse.  The case is under investigation.

On Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at approximately 2:45am, deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by the suspect. Suspect had a warrant for his arrest for failure to appear. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

On Tuesday, January 3, 2016 at approximately 1:46am, Deputy conducted a welfare check on the suspect. Suspect was found to have an active arrest warrant for failure to appear. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.


0217000069 / Driving on Revoked License / 1-2-17

Suspect: Gerald Sanchez

Location: 84/285 Mile Post 172

On above date, Deputy Maylone observed a blue Dodge Neon on W. Frontage Road continually honking their horn.  Deputy Maylone observed the vehicle then pull off the roadway and parked.  While conducting a welfare check on above suspect discovered he was driving his brother’s vehicle which was equipped with interlock device and he was unsure how device operated.  I checked above suspect through dispatch and he had a revoked driver license with arrest clause and did not have an interlock driver license.  Suspect was arrest and charged accordingly.

Victim reports 1994 Honda Accord taken from residence parking lot between 0130 and 0830 on 1/1/17.  SF PD located the vehicle in Santa Fe and arrested the driver for Receiving or Transfering  a stolen vehicle.  Case is still under investigation.
