Victim reported to deputy that sometime between April 13, 2017 and April 15, 2017 unknown persons entered his property and stole the listed item. Case is under investigation.

Person Arrested- Higino Geovanny Chacon Miranda 34 yo Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the area of the Buffalo Thunder Casino regarding a wrong way driver.  The vehicle was located at the above location and a traffic stop was initiated.  Contact was made with the driver, the odor of an intoxicant could be detected. Field Sobriety Tests were administered and the driver showed signs of impairment.  Subject refused further testing and was booked accordingly.

Person Arrested- Tracy Baca 42 yo Santa Fe

Deputies responded to the above listed area regarding a reckless driver. Upon making contact with the above individual, it was found that she had a revoked driver's license.  Subject was booked accordingly.


0217005233 / Possession of a controlled substance / 4-15-2017

Location: Santa Fe County Jail

Arrested: Sheryl Flores           Age: 30     Santa Fe,NM

Inmate Flores was found by jail staff to have in her possession substance believed to be methamphetamine and Suboxone. Inmate Flores admitted to possessing the substance and was re booked.

Victim reported to deputy that unknown persons entered her home and stole the listed items. Case is under investigation.

Victim reported to deputy that while inside the establishment, unknown persons damaged her vehicle on its passenger side. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Peter Delacruz – 22 - Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Battery against a Household Member

Deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.  Investigation showed that the boyfriend pushed his girlfriend to the ground during an argument.  The suspect then locker himself and their 3 month daughter in the house and would not let his girlfriend inside.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).


0217005194 – Speeding – Driving While Revoked – 04-15-17

Location: NM-503 – 3 Mile Marker          

Suspect: Marcos Palomino-Ledesma - Espanola, NM

Charges: Driving while Revoked – Speeding – Expired Registration – No insurance – Open Container (Alcohol)

The suspect was stopped for speeding by a Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Police Officer. When the suspect was found to be non-tribal the Sheriff’s Office was called.  Upon deputies investigation the above offenses were determined to have been committed.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Location:  W. Gutierrez / Wells Fargo Bank (Pojoaque)  

Suspect: Brandie Trujillo – 37 – Rancho De Taos, NM

Charges: DWI – Roadways laned for Traffic

Pojoaque Tribal Police initially stopped the suspect’s vehicle for failure to maintain a proper lane of travel.  Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered with showed signs of impairment. The suspect agreed to a breath test with the results being .10/.09.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).
