SFRECC received a call of an unresponsive female at an address on Camino Cabo. It appears the female passed away over night and appeared to be of natural causes.

On 08-20-16 the victim reported the above items taken from her residence on 08-19-16. The victim had a service technician at her residence doing some work. One of the workers was in the bedroom  where the ring was taken from. Suspect information is pending.

Charges: Driving While License is Revoked, Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic

On Saturday, August 20, 2016 at approximately 3:23am, vehicle was observed unable to maintain it's lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified. A check of the driver's license status was conducted through N.C.I.C. and the driver returned with a revoked driver's license with the 66-8-122G arrest clause attached. Driver was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5 Amended Ordinance 2013-5.


Case #0216013095, Aggravated Assault Against a Household Member

Suspect: Male, 42, Albuquerque, NM

Charges: Aggravated Assault Against a Household Member, Battery Against a Household Member

On Friday, August 19, 2016, at approximately 9:15pm, Deputies responded to the area of the incident location in reference to a domestic dispute. Victim had been involved in an argument with the suspect. During the argument the suspect battered the victim. Suspect also had a weapon with him and the victim felt threatened by the suspect having the weapon. Suspect fled the area prior to law enforcement arrival. Victim did not receive any life threatening injuries as a result of this incident. Incident is still under investigation.

Between August 9 and August 19, 2016, unknown subjects made forced entry into the above residence and took the above listed items. Items were valued at $2,000. Case is under investigation.

On Friday, August 19, 2016 at approximately 2:00am, Deputy observed the vehicle traveling in the area going the wrong way. A traffic stop was conducted. A check through N.C.I.C. showed that the suspect was revoked with the 66-8-122G arrest clause. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County Seizure ordinance 2006-5 amended 2013-5.

Charges: Concealing Identity, Possession of Alcoholic Beverages by Minors, No Seat Belt

On Friday, August 19, 2016 at approximately 12:33am, Deputy observed the vehicle in the area with the suspect standing out of the sunroof. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the occupants. Suspect admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages and was not of legal age to drink. Suspect provided a different last name and a different social security number than her own. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.


Case #0216013038, Aggravated DWI

Location: US 84/285 Mile Marker 172, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Emily Stream, Los Alamos, NM

Vehicle: silver 2005 Subaru Outback

On Thursday, August 18, 2016 at approximately 9:26pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a female who was pushing the vehicle. Suspect admitted to driving to location, showed signs of impairment and advised she would continue to drive. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted and the suspect displayed signs of impairment. Suspect was placed under arrest for DWI and was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Act Advisory. Suspect agreed to provide a breath sample. Suspect blew a 0.16 or higher and was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was not seized under the Santa Fe County Seizure Ordinance due to suspect not having any prior DWIs.

Deceased: 71  Year Old Male

On 8/18/16, Deputies were dispatched to above location for an Ambulance Assistance Call. Life Saving Techniques were unsuccessful. The decedent had a Lengthy Medical History. No signs of foul play were observed.
