Location: Quedo Road, Santa Fe
Deceased: 83 YOA male, Santa Fe
Deputies responded to the location in reference to a male with a possible gunshot wound to the head. Deputies arrived on scene and determined the male, who was found to be deceased, had committed suicide. No signs of foul play were observed. The Office of the Medical Investigator was called to the scene to complete their investigation.
Case #2025005196 Possession of a controlled substance

Location: Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility, Santa Fe
Arrested: Ann Baker, 31 YOA female, Albuquerque
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to found narcotics on an inmate. Deputies were advised jail staff located narcotics on an inmate during a routine search. Deputies spoke to the suspect who admitted to being in possession of the narcotics. The suspect was rebooked into the jail accordingly.
2025005190 / Aggravated DWI / 09-03-2025

Arrested: Jarom Walker 44 YOM
Location: San Marcos Loop Santa Fe, NM
Deputy responded to the area after receiving a report of a reckless and possibly drunk driver. The reporting person said the male was slumped over in the vehicle before he woke up and drove to an address down the road. Reporting person relayed the location to deputies who later arrived on scene. Contact was made with the subject who showed signs of impairment. He was ultimately placed under arrest and booked into Santa Fe County Jail without incident.
Case #2025005167/Battery Against a Household Member/09-02-2025
Location: 900 Block of Camino Vista Aurora, Santa Fe, NM
Arrested: Alexis Ayla, 20 YOM
On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies learned that the above suspect had battered a household member. The suspect was placed under arrest and he was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, he was booked accordingly and without incident.
Case # 2025005172/Possession of a Controlled Substance/09-02-2025
Location: 28 Camino Justicia
Arrested: Yasmine Carrera, 31 YOF
On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, deputies responded to the above location for a report of an inmate found with suspected narcotics. Upon arrival, it would found that the suspect was in possession of cocaine. She was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
Case #2025005168/Burglary/09-02-2025
Location: Blue Bell Court, Santa Fe, NM
Stolen: iPhone 15, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air 15"
On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, deputies responded to the above area for a report of a residential burglary. Contact was made with the victim who advised unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the home and stole the above mentioned items. This occurred in the morning hours on September 2, 2025. Stolen items were entered into NCIC. Case remains under investigation.

Suspect/Arrested: K. Ley age 59
Location: Estrada Calabasa, SF
A traffic stop was conducted on Ley. She displayed signs of impairment. She provided a breath sample which showed she had a BrAC of more than twice over the legal limit of .08. She was booked into ADC.
2025005176/ Burglary

Suspect: J. Archuleta age 58
Victim: F. Martinez age 45
State Road 76, Santa Cruz
Victim reported she left her residence around 2pm and returned home around 6:30pm. When she returned home she noticed a black Nissan Rogue exited her driverway. She believe's the driver of this vehicle was her ex-boyfriend Archuleta. She entered her residence and noticed pickaxe, axe, and other miscalleneous tools were missing. This case is under further investigation.

Arrested- Mariam Lopez Marquez (19 year old female/ Santa Fe)
Location- Agua Fria St
Deputies contacted Mariam on a traffic stop. She was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested. She was later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- Mario Martinez (26 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Location- St. Francis/ Sawmill
Mario was contacted by deputies during a traffic stop, and was found to have an outstanding warrant. Mario was arrested on the warrant and later booked into the SF ADC.
