On Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:07pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. An unknown suspect(s) entered the vehicle and removed a wallet with cards, cash, etc. There were no signs of forced entry. Investigation is ongoing.

Victim stated that she lost her coin purse containing approximately $700.00 in cash. Surveillance video shows a male pick up the coin purse and exit the Casino.

Incident: Death Investigation
Narrative: The victim’s mother last spoke to him at approximately 8:00pm last night. When his parents went to the house this morning they found him slumped over on the living room couch, with no signs of life.
The Office of the Medical Investigator was called to the scene.
No foul play or suspicious activity is suspected at this time.

Suspect: Rodolfo Erives – 22 – Edgewood, NM
Charges: DWI
Narrative: The suspect was found passed out in his vehicle at approximately 7:15am on New Mexico Hwy 41 in the Galisteo area. At the time he was found the lights were on and the vehicle was running.
The suspect performed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which showed signs of impairment. The suspect agreed to take a Breathalyzer Test with the results being a .10.
The suspect was subsequently booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility for DWI

Person Arrested- Alejandro Montes 41 yo Santa Fe, NM
while on a crash scene, the above listed person was observed tail gating, honking and screaming at another driver who was traveling in front of him. A traffic stop was conducted on the above listed person. The above listed person was found to be impaired and was subsequently arrested.

Arrested: Justin Sandoval, age 25
Deputies were dispatched to the above address in regards to a Domestic dispute. Upon arrival deputies were advised the above suspect laid on top of his girlfriend while both were in bed not allowing her to pack her belongings to leave the residence after a verbal argument. During the altercation, the suspect ripped the victim's sweater and had grabbed the victim's wrist leaving red marks on her wrist The above suspect was arrested and transported to Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center

Arrested: Cody Sanchez, 24-year-old male from Espanola N.M.
On 03-10-16 just after 10:00pm Mr. Sanchez was observed driving a green Ford Focus, speeding on San Felipe Road. A traffic stop was conducted. He concealed his identity by providing a flase name. He was arrested and Herion along with a syringe was located in his vehicle. He also did not have a driver's license. He was booked on the above charges.

Arrested: Gabriel Vargas, age 28, Gayle Ortega, age 28
Deputy dispatched to above location in reference to a narcotic violation. During the investigation, Deputy learned that Correction Officers listened to a recorded conversation between inmate Gabriel Vargas and his fiance Gayle Ortega discussing her bringing contraband into the jail facility. Inmate Ortega was later incarcerated and was found with contraband (Suboxone and a syringe) inside the facility. Inmate Ortega admiited to bringing the contraband to her fiance (Inmate Vargas). Both inmates were rebooked.

Location: Raven's Rage Rd, Santa Fe, NM, 87505
Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported burglary at an address on Ravens Ridge Road in reference to a reported burglary. Contact was made with the victim who reported suspect(s) entered the home and searched through the victims belongings. Victim reported that it is unknown at this time what was taken. The scene was processed for evidence. This case remains under investigation.
