Victim reports that while conducting a query of his bank account he noticed an unusal deduction being taken out.  The amount was being taken out via electronic check in the amount of $19.94.  It was discovered that this amount was being taken out since September 29, 2011 totaling in the amount of $2,917.34.  Case is still pending further investigation. 


Case #: 0215012859/Possession of Controlled Substance/ Date: 08-16-2015

Location: 17700 block of US 84/285 East Frontage Road, Santa Fe, NM (Pojoaque Area)

Arrested: Alexa Scarduzio 27 yoa female, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Possession of Controlled Substance to wit: Heroin, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Deputy was dispatched to assist Bureau of Indian Affiars Officer who was out at the above location in reference to a narcotics violation.  The above female was found in possession of a loaded syringe with a brown tar like substance while attempting to locate her identification card in her person.  Through further investigation the above female was also found with multiple syringes and three small pieces of brown tar like substance.  Suspect admitted to possessing the items.  She was arrested and booked on the above charges without further incident.

Location: Ave De Garcia at Los Pinos Road

Arrested: Cristobal Rodriguez-Ruiz, age 34, Santa Fe, NM

The above suspect was stopped for travelling in the oppisite lane of traffic and almost colliding head on with a Sheriff's unit. The suspect was found to be impaired and had open bottles of beer in his vehicle.  The suspect provided a breath sample, and the results were .27, .24 and .23.  Suspect was arrested and his vehicle was seized per the Santa Fe County ordinance.


Case #0215012794, DWI

Location: 3600 block of Agua Fria, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Carlos Perez, 31, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: 1999 red Mazda pickup

Charges: DWI, Equipment Violation, Driver to be licensed

On Friday, August 14, 2015 at 9:40 PM, Deputy observed the vehicle traveling on Agua Fria without working tail lamps or license plate lights. A traffic stop was conducted and the suspect, who was driving, showed signs of impairment from some kind of alcoholic beverage. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted and the suspect showed signs of impairment. Driver was placed under arrest for DWI. The New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory was read to the suspect and the suspect agreed to submit to a breath test. A breath test was conducted and the suspect's BrAC was higher than a 0.08. The suspect was ran through N.C.I.C. and the suspect did not possess a valid driver's license. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. 


Case#: 0215012817/Auto Burglary, Larceny/Date: 08-15-15

Location: Rabbit Road, Santa Fe, NM (Santa Fe Rail Trailhead Area)

Stolen: Royal Blue Purse with contents inside (wallet, credit cards, gift cards, cash and check books), and Navy Blue Eagle Peak Backpack Total Estimated Value $360.00

Victim reports unknown person gained unlawful entry into a White 2014 Subaru Forester at the above location.  Entry was gained between the hours of 8:40am and 10:00am.  Once inside the vehicle the above items were stolen.  Case still pending further investigation.


0215012803 / Aggravated DWI / 08-15-15

Location: Residence on Olive Street in the Cottonwood mobile home park

Arrested: Miguel Villareal-Ramos, 36-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 08-15-15 at approximately 12:10AM deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to loud music.  The above defendant was located sitting in the driver's seat of a running vehilce that was playing loud music.  There were several empty beer cans around the vehicle on the ground.  The driver was found to be intoxicated and refused chemical testing.  He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Victim: Male, 60, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Theft of Identity, Fraud

On Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11:06 AM, Deputy made contact with the victim in reference to an identity theft. An unknown suspect(s) used the victim's personal information to open a cell phone account. The cell phone company withdrew more than $500 from the victim's account over the course of several months. Investigation is ongoing.

Location: 100 block of County Road 84   Jacona

Suspect: Javier Serna  Age: 34  Santa Fe

Javier Serna was arrested for Felony DWI(4th offense) and 2 counts of Abuse of a Child when it was learned that he was involved in a domestic dispute and was trying to drive away with 2 children while impaired.  It was also learned that he had violated an Order of Protection during this incident.  He was arrested and booked accordingly.  BAC. is pending blood analysis.

Stolen: miscellaneous papers

  Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address on Old Las Vegas Highway in reference to a reported burglary. Deputies arrived and made contact with the victim who stated on todays date at approximately 5:50pm suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims vehicle. Once entry was gained suspect(s) took a bag with miscellaneous papers. This case remains under investigation.


SFCSO Case #0215012700/ Larceny (Firearm)/ 08-13-2015

Location: Calle lazo Errante Santa Fe, New Mexico 87507

Stolen: Semi automatic handgun valued at $500.00

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a stolen handgun. The victim reports she had a male friend stay at her residence on Wednesday August 12, 2015 and on today's date she noticed her handgun was missing. There were no signs of forced entry and the victim believes the male friend possibly stole the weapon. This case is currently under investigation
