Suspect: Bernardino Jimenez – 59 - Santa Fe, NM
Charges: DWI / Reckless Driving
At approximately 02:26am Santa Fe County Dispatch advised deputies of a vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of US-84/285 at the 168 mile marker. Deputies proceeded southbound from the Pojoaque area and at the 174 mile marker they encountered the vehicle still traveling northbound in the southbound lanes. The deputies had to turn around and also proceed northbound in the southbound lanes in their attempt to stop the vehicle. One of the deputies moved to get in front of the vehicle and was able to slow the vehicle to a stop.
The suspect showed impairment while performing Field Sobriety Tests and was placed under arrest.
The suspect was given an Intoxilyzer Test with the results being a .19 and an .18 and was subsequently booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
The suspect’s vehicle was seized pursuant to Santa Fe County Ordinance due to prior DWI’s

On Monday, January 16, 2016 at approximately 10:15pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic disturbance. During an argument the suspect battered the victim. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

A traffic stop was initiated on the above listed person. It was found that she had an active warrant for failing to appear in court. She was booked accordingly.

Stolen: Wallet, containing two credit cards and a debit card.
On 01-015-17 the victim reported his wallet was stolen from his gym bag while working out at the above location. The wallet contained his two credit cards and a debit card. The victim reported one of his credit cards were used at a convenience store and a fast food restaurant. suspect information is pending at this time.

Person Arrested- Julie Downey 48 yo Santa Fe
Deputies were dispatched to the above location regarding a vehicle crash. Upon making contact with the driver, driver admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages. Field sobriety tests were conducted and the driver showed signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested. Subject was booked accordingly.

Between 10:30 pm on January 14, 2017 and 7:45 am on January 15, 2017, unknown subjects gained entry into the above residence and attempted to take items while inside. Case is under investigation.

Person Arrested- David Romero 29 yo Santa Fe
Deputy responded to the above location regarding an altercation that had occurred at the location. Upon investigation, it was found that the above suspect had threatened another inmate then battered the inmate breaking his tooth. Subject was arrested and booked accordingly.

On 01/14/17 the victim reported he believes he was defrauded by a contractor, who was hired to perform plumbing work at the above location. On 01/09/17 the victim met with the plumber and signed a contract for work to be performed. However, after providing the plumber with a check in the above amount, the plumber had not been heard from. Several attempts to contact the plumber were unsuccessful. This case is under investigation.

On 01/14/17 the victim reported between January 4th and January 5th of this year, an unknown person used an expired credit card to attempt to purchase a Dell computer. The victim was contact by Dell, requesting a confirmation on the order. However, the victim reported he did not purchase a new computer. The value of the computer was $1,000.00. Suspect information is pending at this time.

Charges: Santa Fe Municipal Court Bench Warrant
On 01/14/17 the above individual was contacted on State Road 106 near Shady Lane. It was determined the above subject had an active bench warrant, charging him for Failure to Appear. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility accordingly.
