Location: Interstate 25 Mile Marker 290 Southbound (Eldorado exit)

 

Deceased: 67 year old male, Santa Fe

 

Vehicle: Honda Goldwing MC

 

 

 

Deputies responded to a crash on I-25 near the Eldorado exit involving one motorcycle. The driver lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle striking the pavement. Upon arrival it was determined that the rider of the motorcycle had succumbed to his injuries. OMI responded to the scene and next-of –kin was notified. Speed is not considered a factor in this crash. Alcohol is not considered a factor in this crash.   The driver was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash. The interstate was restricted to one lane with the assistance of NMDOT from 1307hrs until 1808hrs while members of the Traffic Homicide Investigations Team investigated.

Location: Avenida Vista Grande and Espira Court

Arrested: Don Fenkeldei, 67-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 09-02-15 at approximately 5:46PM Mr. Fenkeldei was stopped for speeding at the above location: He showed signs of impairment to include nthe odor of alcohol.  He failed the standardized field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest.  he refused to submitt to a breath test and was booked on the above charges. 


Case#0215013852 / Tampering with evidence, Aggravated DWI, Leaving the scene of an accident / 09-02-15

Location: Richards Avenue

Arrested: Joseph Roybal, 21-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 09-02-15 at approximately 8:48PM Deputies were dispatched to a hit and run crash on Richard's Avenue.  A Tan Chevrolet Tahoe struck another vehicle and left the scene. Witnesses were able to provide the license plate of the vehilce to Deputies who were able to locate the vehicle and driver at the driver's residence.  The driver was identified as the above defendant and his tan Tahoe was located in his garage with heavy damage consistant with the crash scene.  He admitted to consuming alcohol before driving and failed field sobriety tests.  He was arrested and booked on the above charges. 

 


0215013846, Warrant Arrest, 09.02.15

Location: Calle Chiripada, (Arroyo Seco)

Arrested: Norman Martinez, age 44

Deputies responded to the above address in regards to a domestic call.  Deputies learned the above individual was on probation.  Deptuies contacted Adult Probation and Parole and an arrest warrant issued for Martinez's arrest, for violating his conditions of probation. Martinez was transported to ADC.


0215013828, Burglary, Larceny 09.02.15

Location: Locust St. (Cottonwood MHP)

Stolen: 2 TV's and an X-BOX 360

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a residential burglary.  The victim indicated between 12:30pm and 12:50pm an unknown person gained entery into their residence by using a pry tool on the front door.  The above items were removed from the residence, case is still under investigation.  No suspects have been identified.


Case # 0215013783 Battery against a household member 09-01-15

Location: Northfork (Santa Fe Area)

Arrested: Shannel Anaya 30 yoa male (Santa Fe)

On September 1,2015 deputies were dispatched to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival investigation revealed that Ms. Anaya attacked her father and struck him multiple times leaving marks to his person. Suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center without incident.

Location: 4700 Block of Agua Fria St.

Arrested: Charles Sena 38 yoa male Santa Fe NM

Charges: Municipal Warrant charging Failure to appear on shoplifting charge

The above subject was stopped for a traffic violation and found to have an active warrant for his arrest. The subject was arrested and taken to the Santa Fe County Detention Center where he was booked into the jail.

 


Case #0215013786 Warrant Arrest 09-01-15

Location: Siler Road near West Alameda

Arrested: Cassandra Balboa (27 yoa female Santa Fe) & Sabrina Esquibel (26 yoa female Santa Fe)

Charges: Warrants issued by New Mexico Adult Probation and Parole.

Ms. Balboa's warrant charged fail to comply with probation and parole for the original offense Aggravated Battery with a deadly weapon.

Ms. Esquibel warrant charged fail to comply with probation and parole for the original offense of Residential Burglary and Larceny.

The above subjects were stopped for a traffic offense. During the traffic offense the subjects were found to be violating their respective conditions of probation. Both were arrested and taken to the Santa Fe County Detention Center without incident.


Case#: 0215013748/ Theft of Identity/ Date: 09-01-2015

Deputy Assigned: Deputy Gene Meek

Commander Assigned: Corporal Deborah Anaya

Location: 100 block of Church Street, Edgewood, NM (Edgewood Area)

Victim at the above location reports unknown person stole his identity.  Victim attempted to file an extention on his 2014 tax return to the IRS when he found someone had already filed taxes under his identity.  Victim also recieved a bill in the mail for a loan he never applied for.  Case still pending further investigation. 


Case#: 015013749/Fraud/ Date: 09-01-2015

Location: Coyote Trail, Santa Fe, NM (Hwy 14 area)

Victim reports that unknown person gained his bank card information sometime between the dates of February 2015 and May 2015.  Several charges were made totaling in the amount of $3,500.00.  Case still pending further investigation.
