On Saturday, April 2, 2016 at approximately 12:07am, Deputy responded to location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. An unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the vehicle by breaking a window and removing a wallet containing a driver's license and cash. Investigation is ongoing.

Suspect: Amanda Martinez, 26, Santa Fe, NM
Cahrges: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Suboxone
On Saturday, April 2, 2016 at approximately 3:17am, Deputy was dispatched to location in reference to an inmate found in possession of a controlled substance. Inmate was observed on video in possession of Suboxone, wrapped in clear plastic as well as a homemade syringe. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Location: Santa Fe County
Deputies were dispatched to the Sheriff's Office, in regards to an auto burgalry. Deputies learned between March 7, and March 28 2016. An unknown person entered a 2014 GMC Pickup and removed a firearm. The victim only noticed the firearm missing on the 28th and is unsure where the firearm was stolen. Case is still under investigation, no suspects have been identified.

Deputies responded to the above location in regards to an auto burgalary. Deputies learned between 6:00PM and 6:50PM an unknown person broke into a Subaru Outback while it was parked at the above location. No suspects have been identified, case is still under investigation.

Arrested; Rickie Burrell, age 30 Los Alamos, NM
Deputies responded to the above location in regards a disorderly person at the above location. When deputies arrived the above suspect was intoxicated and witness stated he had driven to the location. Deputies performed SFST's and the suspect showed signs of impairment. He was arrested and transported to the jail without incident.

Arrested: Sheldon Sanchez, age 36
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle due to a red light violation from NM 599 onto NM 14. During the traffic stop, Deputy learned the about subject's driver license was revoked with the arrest cause. The subject was booked into the jail without incident. The vehicle was seized per County ordinance.

Arrested: Jean Archuleta, age 74
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle, due to the driver not wearing her seatbelt. Upon speaking with the driver, deputies could smell an intoxicating beverages coming from the driver. After administering SFST's, which the driver showed signs of impairment the driver was arrested for the above charges. She was booked into the jail without incident.

Arrested: Jaime Ruelas, age 26, Alb, NM
Deputies were dispatched to the above location in regards to a physical altercation. When deputies arrived they learned the above suspect had stabbed the victim multiple time with a large cooking knife. The victim suffered only superficial stab wounds and was treated on scene. The suspect was arrested and charge with above crime. Suspect was transported to the jail without incident.

Location: Agua Fria/San Ysidro Crossing
Victim reported two unknown males approached him while he was stopped at the stop sign and pointed a gun at him. The two males demanded he open the trunk of his vehicle and the suspects removed a tool box with tools and an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim. This incident occurred on March 29th, but was not reported until today. Case is still under investigation.
