On the aforementioned date, deputies made contact with the victim who advised that a storage unit that was being rented out was broken into back in November of this year. The victim advised that she was unaware of the burglaries occurrence until recently. Property taken was a specialized seesaw performance tripod. This case is currently under investigation.

On the aforementioned date, deputies made contact with the victim who advised that she was contacted by a commander from the Santa Fe County Sheriffs Office. The victim further stated that she was informed that she had multiple outstanding bench warrant for her arrest and could rectify the warrants by paying $2,000 dollars in fee's. The victim unsuspectingly complied and pay the money and never heard from the fraudulent individual again. This case is currently under investigation.

On the aforementioned date, deputies served an arrest warrant on the above mentioned individual while he was currently incarcerated at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center for failure to appear in court.

Person Arrested: Karl Eiker, 60 years of age
On the aforementioned date, deputies were conducting a follow up investigation and made contact with the above mentioned individual. A records check revealed Mr.Eiker to have an active bench warrant for his arrest for failure to appear in court. He was taken into custody without incident.

Location: Residence in Chimayo N.M.
Arrested: Cruz Gallegos, 27-year-old male from Chimayo N.M.
On 12-27-16 at about 11:00pm Deputies heard several gunshots coming from inside Mr. Gallegos' residence. Contact was made with Mr. Gallegos who stated he was shooting at his walls and ceiling because he heard someone talking outside of his house. A total of 19 rounds were fired from Mr. Gallegos from a handgun into his interior walls and ceiling. After he was placed under arrest and into the back of a patrol unit he began hitting his head against an interior dome light damaging it. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Location: Las Lomas Drive Santa Fe,NM (Valle Vista)
Deputy responded to location in reference to a report of a burglary. Once on scene it was determined that the suspects entered the establishment by force. While inside the establishment, the suspects attempted to force their way into a locked office but were not successful. Case is still under investigation.

On above date deputies were dispatched to the above address to an unresponsive female. Life saving techniques were administered too no avail. OMI was notified and advised no foul play was observed.

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the victims home in reference to a Residential Burglary. Upon their arrival, the victim advised deputies that his home was broken into and various household furnishing and electronics were taken. No suspect information is available at this time, this case is currently under investigation.

Location: 30 Buffalo Trail, Santa Fe, NM
Suspect: Jermaine Theragood, Age 39, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies dispatched to above location in reference to a larceny. Deputies learned above suspect was using other guest's player cards at the location. Suspect admitted to using the cards that had free play money. During the investigation, Deputies learned that the above suspect had an active warrant. A green leafy substance and a multi colored pipe was found on the suspect during search incident to arrest.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).
