On 08-15-16 the complainant reported someone stole the above items from a Ford F150 truck while it was parked at the above location. The items were taken between July 14th, 2016 and today (08/15/16). Suspect information is pending at this time.

Arrested: Jorge Rios-Rivas, 27 years old, Santa Fe, NM, 87507
Santa Fe Sheriff Deputy Coles observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on 84/285. The vehicle was stopped at which an odor of alcoholic beverages were detected. The driver was asked to exit the vehicle to preform SFST's. The driver showed mulitple signs of impairment. Jorge Rios-Rivas submitted to a breath test. The test confirmed the presence of alcoholic beverages on the driver. Jorge Rios-Rivera was booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center accordingly.

Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported motor vehicle burglary on the West Frontage Road at the Botanical Gardens. Contact was made with the victim who stated that between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00p.m. on 08-14-16 suspect(s) gained unalwful entry into the victims vehicle. Once entry was gained the suspect(s) took electronics and various credit cards from within the vehicle. This case remains under investigation.
