Location: Francisco Lane (Tesuque Area)

Victim reported that sometime between 1:30pm and 7:00pm on 08-04-15 her residence was burglarized. Forced entry was gained by the shattering a rear window and then opening a door. Taken in the burglary was one ounce of medical marijuana, a black computer tablet and $ 286.00 in U.S. Currency.

The burglary is under investigation

Location: US 84/285 – MM-172

Arrested Person: Tenika Varela – Age 37 – Pecos, NM

Deputy was dispatched to assist the Santa Fe City Police with a traffic stop on a vehicle that had been involved in a motor vehicle crash.  The driver left the scene of the crash and later stopped on US 84/285. Upon contact with the driver she was observed to be visibly impaired. The driver admitted to taking prescription medication prior to operating her vehicle.

The driver was arrested and taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital for a legal blood draw and was subsequently booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility

0215012226 - Unlawful taking of a Motor Vehicle - 08-04-15

Location:  Sycamore Loop (Cottonwood MHP)

Victim reported that sometime between 6:00pm on 08-02-15 and 7:00pm on 08-04-15 someone gained entry into a shed by prying the door open. Taken was a 2007 black and silver Yamaha Raptor valued at $ 3,500.00.

The theft is under investigation.

Location: Santa Fe County Road 84, Santa Fe, NM, 87506 ( El Rancho Area)

Arrested: Tracy Baca, 40 years old, Santa Fe, NM, 87506

  Santa Fe County Sheriffs Deputies responded to an address on Santa Fe County Road 84 in reference to a domestic disturbance. Contact was made with the caller who stated his wife left his home after an arument and was intoxicated. The above listed driver drove up the the home while Deputies were still on scene. The suspect was given SFST's at which time signs of impairment were observed. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe Detention Center where she was booked accordingly. The domestic dispute was only verbal. No further action was taken.

Location: Delaware Lane, Santa Fe, NM, 87507 ( Santa Fe area)

Stolen: Electronics, jewelry

  Santa Fe County Sheriffs responded to an address on Delaware Lane in reference to a reported burglary. Contact was made with the victim who advised that on todays between the hours of 8:30 pm  and 9:10 pm suspects gained unlawful entry into the victims home. Once entry was gained suspects took electronics and jewelry from within the home. This case remains under invesitgation.

Location- Condesa Road- Santa Fe

Items missing- Jewlery

On the above date, deputy was dispatched to the above location.  Upon making contact with the reporting party, it was found that suspect was hired to repair several window blinds in the home in June 2015. Suspect was left alone in the home for one hour. It was later found that several pieces of jewlery were missing from the home.  Case is under investigation.

Location- 28 Camino Justicia (Adult Detention Facility)

Suspect- 26 yo female Jacqueline Gibbs Santa Fe

On the above date, deputy was dispatched to the detention facility. Upon investigation it was found that during a routine cell search the above listed suspect had in her possession a controlled substance.  Suspect was re booked into the jail.

Arrested: Valeria Quintana, 32 years old, Santa Fe, NM, 87507

 Santa Fe Deputies responded to an address on S. Sierra Place in reference to an ambulance assist. Deputies arrived and made contact with the vicitm who was having medical problems. Contact was made with with the above suspect who admitted to giving the victim the suspects presciption narcotic. The victim was transported to St. Vincents Hospital. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

 Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the Camel Rock Casino Parking lot in reference to a reported burglary. Contact was made with the victim who stated on todays date between 2:00pm and  3:37 pm suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims vehicle. Once entry was gained suspect(s) took an electronic from within the vehicle.  This case remains under investigation.

 Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address on Vista Bella in reference to a reported identity theft. Upon arrival Deputies made contact with the victim who stated suspect(s) filed taxes using the victims information for 2014. The incident was reported to the IRS. This case remains under investigation.
