Victim reported between 10:00 pm on 08-10-16 and 1:30pm on 08-11-16 someone forced entry into their residence. It appears the suspect took a shower and ate at the residence but did not take anything. Case is under investigation.

Jerome Benavidez Age: 34 Santa Fe,NM
Deputies were dispatched to the listed address in reference to casino staff observing a possible hand to hand transaction. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the suspects and recovered suspected Cocaine, Heroin and Methamphetamine. The male suspect also admitted to selling narcotics to the female. Both parties were arrested and taken to jail where they were booked accordingly.

Victim 2: Male, 28, Espanola, NM
Suspect: Michael Salazar, 38, Espanola, NM
Charges: Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Damage to Property of a Household Member
On Thursday, August 11, 2016 at approximately 12:38am, deputies were dispatched in reference to a domestic dispute. Suspect and victim had been involved in a verbal argument. Suspect agreed to leave the other resident alone for the night. At approximately 2:09am, deputies were dispatched to the residence in reference to the suspect yelling. Suspect damaged a door and a wall, and was disturbing the peace of the other residents. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any injuries as a result of this incident.

Taken: $2000.00 Cash
Victim reported she had cash taken from her purse between from 12:00 pm. and 12:30 pm while she was at home. Victim reported one of several visitors may have stolen the currency. Case is under investigation.

Deputies were dispatched to listed area in reference to shots being fired. Upon arrival, it was discovered that there was a victim of a shooting. The victim had been transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the shooting. The case is currently being investigated.

Suspect: Melecio Gallegos, 22, Santa Fe, NM
On Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at approximately 8:13pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Suspect and victim (father and son) were involved in an argument and during the argument the suspect threatened to batter the victim. Victim was in fear of receiving a battery from the suspect. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one was injured as a result of this incident.

Person Arrested- Bertha Boling 63 yo Santa Fe
Deputies were dispatched to the above location regarding a domestic dispute. Upon investigation, it was determined that the above listed person battered the victim and damaged property of the victim. She was booked accordingly.

On Monday, August 8, 2016 at approximately 11:23pm, Deputies responded to the area in reference to damage to multiple vehicles. Four vehicles in the area had one window broken as well as one window to a residence. Unknown suspect(s) broke the windows. Investigation is ongoing.
