Arrested: Sandra Salas, 54-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.
On 01-19-16 the above defendant was observed operating a vehicle on the Interstaed failing to maintain her lane of travel. A traffic stop was copnducted and she displayed signs of intoxication. She failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. She refused to submitt to a breath test and was booked into the Jail on the above charges.

On 01-18-16 Jail staff located a home made knife while conducting a cell search of the above defendant's cell.

Deputies responded with EMS to a rock climbing accident. A 59 year old woman fell while rock climbing and did not survive the injuries. Medical Officer arrived and at this time no foul play is suspected. It appears a malfunction may have occurred with the rigging of safety lines. Identification is pending notification of next of kin.

On this date, deputy responded to the above location. Upon arrival, it was found that suspects gained forcen entry into a container and took the above listed items. This occurred between 1-15-16 at 4:30 p.m. to 1-18-16 at 7:00 a.m.. Value of items taken is $3,000. Case is under investigation.

On January 17, 2016, above subject was arrested at the above location on a Santa Fe Magistrate Court arrest warrant for aggravated battery against a household member. Subject was transported and booked at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop with the above subject for speeding and roadways lane for traffic. During the traffic stop, Deputy detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the driver. SFST's were administered, which the driver showed signs of impairment. Subject arrested and booked accordingly.

Victim reported sometime between 2pm and 4pm on today's date, unknown suspect(s) gained forced entry into their vehicle through the passenger door window and stole above mentioned items. During the investigation, It was learned unknown suspect(s) had fraudulently used the victims credit card at a gas station in the Santa Fe area. Case is under investigation.

Deputies located a vehicle who had been reported as driving recklessly at the above location, Deputies initiated a traffic stop and driver fled crashing into two unoccupied vehicles. Driver was determined to be under the influence of alcoholic beverages and was arrested. Driver submitted to chemical testing with the results pending. Driver was taken to jail and booked accordingly.

Suspect: Jonathan Baca Age: 23 Santa Fe
Deputies responded to a possible fight in progress and found that Jonathan Baca had recklessly driven down Agua Fria Street and crashed through the fence to the property and then crashed into the wall of an out-building causing significant damage. Baca was not impaired and was arrested for Reckless Driving.

Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported criminal sexual contact of a minor. Contact was made with the complainant who stated a suspect inappropriately touched his young daughter who was under the age of 17 years old. Deputies began taking statements. Investigations was called to the scene to further investigate. This case remains under investigation.
