Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address on Herrada Court in reference to a report of an unresponsive 76 year old male subject. Deputies arrived on scene with Santa Fe County Medics. Medics began life saving procedures, but were unsuccessful. OMI was called to the scene. The 76 year old victim had a history of medical problems. No signs of foul play were observed.

On February 5, 2016 at 12:52am, Deputy responded to location in reference to items that had been taken from the location. Suspects, who were friends of the victim, took several items belonging to the victim while helping the victim move. A vase was also broken while the suspects were taking the items. Investigation is ongoing.

The scene was processed for evidence. this case remains under investigation.
