Arrested: Michele Richardson, 55-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.

On 07-24-16 at about 9:45pm a traffic stop was conducted on Ms. Richardson's white Jeep Wrangler after the Sheriff's Office received a report that she was possibly suicidal and driving intoxicated.  Further investigation revealed she was driving while under the influence of alcohol and she was placed under arrest.

Between 6:30 am and 12:15 pm, unknown subjects took large pieces of metal art  from the above address.  Case is under investigation.

Location: Aspen Vista Trailhead- Hyde Park

Decedent: 63 year old male

On 07-24-16 Deputies responded to a man down call on the Aspen Vista (Hyde Park). Upon arrival Santa Fe City Fire Paramedics were attempting life saving measures. However, the measures were unsuccessful. There were no signs of foul play or injury. The Office of the Medical Investigator will be determining the cause of death.


02160011443 – Burglary (Auto) – 07-22-16

Suspect: Unknown

Victim advised the burglary took place sometime between 7:00 p.m. yesterday and 7:00 a.m. today. Vehicle was possibly left unlocked as there was no damage to the vehicle. Taken from the victim’s vehicle: one (1) checkbook and three (3) bottles of cologne.

Suspect: Unknown

Victim said between the times of 1400 on 07/21/2016 and 0600 07/22/2016 unknown   suspect(s) entered his vehicle, his wife's vehicle, and his sister's vehicle taking a Boss DVD in dash player, a Butterfly Knife, and a FM Transmitter. Victim said he leaves the doors to the vehicles unlocked and does not keep anything of value in the vehicles.

Deputies were dispatched to the above address regarding a fraud.  Upon investigation, it was found that unknown suspects had accessed the victims bank account and took out $2000 between June 1, 2016 and July 22, 2016.  Case is under investigation.

On Friday, July 22, 2016 at approximately 9:58pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. Vehicle was unsecured and an unknown suspect(s) entered the vehicle and removed sunglasses and a cellular phone. Investigation is ongoing.

Suspect: Antonio Romero-Maes, 19, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property

On Friday, July 22, 2016, at approximately 6:53pm, Deputy was dispatched to location in reference to a residential burglary. Suspect entered the residence by breaking a window and removed electronic items. Suspect returned to the residence later with one of the items that had been removed. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

On 07-22-16 the victim reported an unknown  person(s) broke three wooden boards on his fence. The victim reported the broken fence made it possible for his dog to access a pen where his sheep are kept. The victim further added he received an email which detailed the fence being broken and his dog getting into the sheep's pen. The victim added the email also contained harassing words in regards to his religion. The case is being investigated as a hate crime at this time.

Victim reported between July 21, 2016 at 7:00pm and July 22, 2016 7:40 am an unknown person(s) gained entry to his vehicle by prying the weather stripping on the drivers side window and unlocked the door from the inside and took above items. Case is under investigation.
