Deputies attempted a traffic stop with the above subject. When the vehicle came to a stop, the subject/ driver fled on foot. The subject was apprehended and a controlled substance was located in her possession. The subject also had two active arrest warrants for failure to appear on charges of distributing a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a stolen vehicle, battery upon a peace officer, resisting, evading an officer, careless driving, and trafficking a controlled substance. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Deputies were dispatched to assist Pojoaque Police with a traffic stop because the driver was non-native. The driver had a valid-revoked interlock driver's license, which required an interlock to be installed. However, the vehicle the subject was driving did not have an interlock installed at the time of the stop. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Deputies responded to the location in reference to a disorderly conduct call. Once on scene and through investigation, it was learned the suspect exhibited signs of suicidal ideations and was highly intoxicated, based on prior actions and witness testimony. Suspect was highly combative from the beginning. Based on this information, deputies attempted to detain suspect in order to transport him to the hospital. Suspect resisted deputies battering deputies as a result. Once he was detained, he was being carried to a unit when he bit a deputy on the vest. Subject was ultimately transported, charged and booked into Santa Fe County Jail.
