Victim reported to deputies that an unknown person had filed a tax return utilizing her personal information. No funds were transferred to the person utilizing the identity as State Of New Mexico Tax & Rev employees were able to flag the return for possible fraud. Case is under investigation.

Arrested: Nick Gurule, 58yoa, Hernandez NM

On todays date a traffic stop was conducted on the above suspect.  It was learned that he was currently driving on a revoked drivers license from a previous DWI.  Gurule was arrested without incident and booked into ADC. 


0215013233, Criminal Sexual Penetration (adult), 08/22/2015

Arrested: Pacheco, Samuel 33yoa male, Santa Fe

 

On this date, Deputies were dispatched to assist the City of Santa Fe Police with a possible CSP of an adult that had occured in the County.  Upon arrival the supect was identified and interviewed by Detectives in regards to the statements made by the victim.  The 33yoa female victim was taken to an area hospital for an unrelated injury and interviewed.  Detectives made an arrest disicion based on the evidence and interviews.  Suspect Samuel Pacheco was arrested without incident and booked into Santa Fe ADC.


0215013214-Concealing Identity-8-22-15

Deputy Assigned- S. Miller

Location- Cities of Gold Road Santa Fe

Person Arrested- Boone Tucker 41 yo male Edgewood, NM

 

On this date, deputy was dispatched to the above address reference to suspicious activity. Upon conducting an investigation it was found that the above suspect was concealing his identity.  The suspect was arrested and booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.


Case #0215013151, Fraud

Deputy Assigned: C. Aguayo

Location: 400 block of Los Pinos Road, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Female, 28, Santa Fe, NM

On Friday, August 21, 2015 at 10:34 AM, Deputy made contact with the victim in reference to a fraud. Victim responded to an ad on Craigslist to rent an appartment. Lease agreement was filled out and sent to the unknown suspect in the mail. Suspect requested money to be sent through Money Gram so the victim could get the keys. Suspect then requested more money and victim decided to make a report. Victim is now unable to make contact with the susepct.  Investigation is ongoing.


Case #0215013099, Larceny

Victim: Female, 68, Santa Fe, NM

On Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 9:28 AM, Deputy made contact with the victim in reference to a larceny. While the victim was moving from one location to another, an unknown suspect(s) removed jewelry from her possession. The jewelry was valued at more than $2,500. Investigation is ongoing.


Case #0215013106, Death Investigation

Deceased: Male, 39, Espanola, NM

On Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11:04 AM, Deputies responded to location in reference to an unresponsive male. Attempts to revive the male were unsucessful. The Office of the Medical Investigator responded to the scene. There does not appear to be signs of foul play at this time.


Case #0215013050, Death Investigation

Location: 300 block of Camino Cerro Chato, Madrid, NM

Deceased: Male, 64, Madrid, NM

On Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 10:53 AM, Deputy responded to location in reference to an unresponsive male. The male could not be revived. The Office of the Medical Investigator was called to the scene. There were no signs of foul play and it appears the death was due to natural causes.


Case #0215013034, Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle

Location: 1800 block of Gils Way, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Female, 32, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: 1999 Green Oldsmobile Bravada

Suspect: Jay Wagers, 19, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Kevin Christen, 22, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle, Attempt to Commit a Felony, to wit: Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle, Resisting, Evading or Obstructing an Officer, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property.

On Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 7:33 AM, Deputies responded to location in reference to two males attempting to steal the victim's vehicle. Contact was made with the suspects and one of them fled the area. A foot pursuit insued and the suspect was apprehended after he removed a wheel barrow that was not his from a nearby property. Victim advised one of the suspects had taken the vehicle without her permission on a previous date and returned it the following day. One of the suspects damaged the electric window fixture trying to open the window to the patrol vehicle he was in. Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.


SFCSO Case #0215013068/ Larceny/ 08-19-2015

Location: Turquoise Trail Charter School- Santa Fe County

Deputies responded to the above location in refrence to an Apple Mac Pro laptop computer being stolen from the location. Between the hours of 2:50pm and 3:10pm the computer was left unattended in a classroom and stolen. The value of the computer was listed at $900.00. This case is currently under investigation.
