Santa Fe NM SFRECC received a call in reference to a vehicle traveling all over the road. A traffic stop was conducted with the suspect. The Suspect was heavily intoxicated and field sobriety tests were conducted. The suspect showed signs of impairment and was arrested. Suspect was found to have 4 prior DWI convictions and driving on a revoked license. A search of the suspect revealed he was in possession of prescription narcotics without a valid prescription. Suspect refused chemical testing and a search warrant for his blood was signed by Judge David Segura. A blood draw was conducted and the results are pending. Suspects vehicle was seized in accordance with Santa Fe County Ordinance.

Upon making contact with the reporting party, it was learned that multiple attempts to open credit accounts were made with personal information since December 2015. One credit card account was approved and charges were incurred in the amount of $2,400. Case is under investigation.

On 01-04-16 at approximately 11:20PM Inmate Tapia physically attacked a female corrections officer causing minor injury to the officer and breaking the officer's glasses and necklace. Inmate Tapia was re-booked on the above charges.

Upon investigation, the owner of the vehicle had started his 2003 Gray in color Acura 4 dr bearing NM license plate 731-RZM to warm it up before leaving for work at 6:44 this morning. While warming it up, suspects entered vehicle and took it from the driveway. The vehicle was entered into NCIC. Case is under investigation.
