SFRECC received a phone call a call of a fire at the location. Investigation revealed an unknown person intentionally set fire to a vehicle, dumpster, front door to a residence, and another vehicle at the residence. Investigation is on-going.

Arrested: John Aragon 27 yoa male from Santa Fe
SFRECC received a call about a reckless driver who was possibly impaired near La Cienega. While attempting to locate the vehicle it was learned the vehicle had exited onto St. Francis Drive. Deputy located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The driver had the smell of an intoxicating beverage coming from his person. SFST's were conducted and the driver showed signs of impariment. A breath test revealed a .24 BRaC. Driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without further incident.

Deputy was dispatch to the above location in reference to assistance with fire department. During the investigation, Deputy learned a vehicle and a dumpster were intentionally set on fire along with the front door to the residence, the entrance to the garage, and another vehicle at the location. Case is still under investigation.

Deputies stopped a vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of traffic. Driver displayed signs of impairment was refused to submit to sobriety testing. Driver was arrested and did submit to chemical testing. The results of the tests were .09, .09.The driver was then transported to jail and booked accordingly.
