Victim reports unknown person gained unlawful entry into a White 2014 Subaru Forester at the above location. Entry was gained between the hours of 8:40am and 10:00am. Once inside the vehicle the above items were stolen. Case still pending further investigation.

Arrested: Miguel Villareal-Ramos, 36-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 08-15-15 at approximately 12:10AM deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to loud music. The above defendant was located sitting in the driver's seat of a running vehilce that was playing loud music. There were several empty beer cans around the vehicle on the ground. The driver was found to be intoxicated and refused chemical testing. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Charges: Theft of Identity, Fraud
On Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11:06 AM, Deputy made contact with the victim in reference to an identity theft. An unknown suspect(s) used the victim's personal information to open a cell phone account. The cell phone company withdrew more than $500 from the victim's account over the course of several months. Investigation is ongoing.

Suspect: Javier Serna Age: 34 Santa Fe
Javier Serna was arrested for Felony DWI(4th offense) and 2 counts of Abuse of a Child when it was learned that he was involved in a domestic dispute and was trying to drive away with 2 children while impaired. It was also learned that he had violated an Order of Protection during this incident. He was arrested and booked accordingly. BAC. is pending blood analysis.

Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address on Old Las Vegas Highway in reference to a reported burglary. Deputies arrived and made contact with the victim who stated on todays date at approximately 5:50pm suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims vehicle. Once entry was gained suspect(s) took a bag with miscellaneous papers. This case remains under investigation.

Stolen: Semi automatic handgun valued at $500.00
Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a stolen handgun. The victim reports she had a male friend stay at her residence on Wednesday August 12, 2015 and on today's date she noticed her handgun was missing. There were no signs of forced entry and the victim believes the male friend possibly stole the weapon. This case is currently under investigation

On Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 1:33 PM, Deputy responded to location in reference to a larceny. An unknown suspect(s) removed the victim's digital camera from within the residence. The digital camera is valued at more than $500. Investigation is ongoing.

Deceased: Male, 58, Del Norte, Colorado
On Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 11:48 AM, Deputies responded to location in reference to an unresponsive male. Deceased was found in the sleeper section of his semi-truck unresponsive. There were no signs of trauma. The Office of the Medical Investigator responded to the scene. It appears that death was due to natural causes. Next of kin has been notified.

On Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 12:11 PM, Corporal responded to location in reference to a forged check. Victim advised an unknown suspect(s) stole two of his checks, forged his signature and cashed the check for more than $250. Investigation is ongoing.

Location: Interstate 25 mile marker 279, Santa Fe, NM, 87508 ( Santa Fe area)
Arrested: Rocky Wheeler, 54 years old, Santa Fe, NM, 87505
Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported recklesss driver on the Interstate. The vehicle was located near mile marker 279. A traffic violasaqtion was observed by Deputies. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle at which time contact was made with the driver. Signs of possible impairment were observed. SFST's were administered. The driver, above listed suspect was placed under arrest. The drivers was taken for chemical testing. Rocky Wheeler was booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.
