While conducting welfare checks in the housing units, the above subject was told to exit his cell. Upon standing, a piece of plastic with items in it fell from his person. Upon investigation, items were found to be a syringe and a controlled substance. Subject was rebooked.

While incarcerated, above subject kicked metal stool that was bolted to the floor breaking the bolts. Subject then grabbed the stool and shattered a cell door window.

On Friday, January 1, 2016 at 1:55am, Deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unknown suspect(s) entered the residence through a window and removed a television, jewelry, a subwoofer box, and DVDs. Investigation is ongoing.

Deputy responded to a residence at the above location to conduct a welfare check on a female who had not been seen for a couple of days. Upon arrival deputy located a female deceased inside the residence. During the investigation, no signs of foul play involved. At this time, cause of death pending an autopsy.

Charges: Battery against a Household Member
Narrative: Deputies responded to a report of a Domestic Disturbance that was called in by a neighbor. The victim was located and she stated her husband hit her in the back of the head and on the face with his closed fist, knocking her out. Injuries observed on the victim were consistent with her statements.
The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility
