Deputies responded to a call for service in regards to an attempted burglary. The victim(s) report at approximately 10:30pm last date he heard foot steps inside his home. The victim did not find it suspicious due to other occupants being in the home. On the next date, the victim reports that a screen was torn and removed from a window and the window was open. The victim found this to be suspicious and contacted law enforcement. Through investigation, nothing was found to be stolen. The damaged screen was valued at $40.00. This case is currently under further investigation

Arrested: Maria Cubero, 22 years of age, Santa Cruz, NM 87532
Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a domestic disturbance. A verbal altercation ensued between the victim and the suspect.The altercation subsequently turned physical. Evidence at the scene suggests that the suspect was the primary aggressor in the altercation. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Location: 3000 block of Riverside Drive Santa Fe, New Mexico 87507
Deputies responded to the above location in refrence to a hit and run motor vehicle crash. Upon investigation, it was determined that two juveniles (Under the age of 18) were at the location when a family member arrived and accused them of stealing his stuff. The family member became upset, got behind the wheel of his vehicle and attempted to use his vehicle as a weapon and drive towards the juvenile in an aggressive manner. One juvenile got out of the way and the family member turned the vehicle around and drove towards the other juvenile striking the juvenile with his vehicle while he was on his bike. One juvenile did not sustain any injuries and the other sustained a minor injuries to his right wrist. Evidence on the scene was constistent with the accounts given by the juveniles. This case is currently under investigation.

Victim reports that on August 7, 2015 he received a call from an individual claiming to be his grandson asking to bail him out of jail. Victim states he recieved another call from a person saying they were a Police Officer in Denver and instructing him to get gift cards to get the grandson released from jail. The victim did as instructed and bought 8 gift cards with the amount of $500.00 on each card (totaling $4,000.00). The victim then provided the card numbers and later found out that his grandson had not been incarcerated in Denver. The money credited to the gift cards had already been transferred into another account. Case still pending further investigation.

Arrested: Raymond Maldonado 54 yoa male, Los Lunas NM
Charges: Battery against a household member
Victim reports that at the above location the above suspect got into a verbal argument. The verbal argument then turned physical. Victim was struck in the face with a closed fist. Victim sustained minor injuries and was treated on scene. Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly without further incident.

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a 53 year old male not conscious and not breathing. Medics on scene attempted life saving procedures, but were unsuccessful. There were no signs of trauma or foul play. OMI was called to take over the investigation. Case still pending further investigation.

Location: 28 Camino Justicia, SF, NM (Santa Fe County Adult Correction Facility)
Arrested: Samantha Edwards 21 yoa female, Santa Fe, NM
Charges: Possession of Controlled Substance to wit: Marijuana and Suboxone
Correction officers conducted a search on the above suspect after a body scan showed an abnormal object near her abdominal area. During the search a ball of cellophane fell from the aboves undearwear. Found inside the cellophane was several orange strips, and a green leafy substance. The above suspect was booked on the above charges without further incident.

Location: Rancho Sin De Baca (La Cienga Area)
Victim reports unknown person gained unlawful forced entry into a barn at the above location between August 6, 2015 at 9:00pm and August 7, 2015 at 7:30am. Entry was gained by ripping the steel metal mesh off the barn window. Once inside nothing was taken but the water was turned on causing water damage inside the barn. Estimated value of damage is pending. Case still pending further investigation.

Sharon Winnger was arrested for DWI after she crashed her truck through a wire fence and got stuck. She showed signs of impairment and her B.A.C. is pending blood test analysis. She was booked for 1st offense DWI.

Stolen: Green in color, Ford F-250 tailgate from a 2002 Ford F-250.
Deputies responded to the victim's place of work and he wanted to report between Tuesday August 4, 2014 and Wednesday August 5, 2015 unknown person(s) stole his tailgat from his 2002 Ford F-250 at his residence. The tailgate is valued over $1000.00. This case is currently under investigation.
