Santa Fe Sheriff Office Deputies responded to a welfare check to the area of Santa Cruz Lake Road. Friends were concerned due to them not hearing from a subject that lives at an address in the area. Deputies arrived on scene and located the 52 year old male subject with no signs of life. The male subject appeared to have been at that location overnight. There were no immediate signs of foul play at the seen. Santa Fe County Criminal Invesigations Detectives arrived to the scene. OMI was also called to the scene. This case remains under investigations

Arrested: Tanya Rodriguez Age: 27 Santa Fe,NM
Deputies were dispatched to the area in reference to a motor vehicle crash. Upon arriving they located the driver who displayed signs of impairment. During the investigation, the driver submitted to sobriety testing in which she displayed several clues. The driver was arrested and agreed to chemical testing. The results of the testing were .17, .16. The driver was transported to jail where she was booked accordingly.

Arrested: Justin Barela (32 yoa male Santa Fe)
The above subject was arrested for an active warrant for his arrest. Once in custody, he was searched and found to be in possession of heroin. He was arrested and booked without incident.

Santa Fe County Sheriif's Deputies responded to a reported larceny. Contact was made with the victim who stated suspect(s) took a ring from within the victims home. The victim believes the suspect(s) were someone who had permission to be in the home. This case remains under investigations.

Location: Santa Fe West Mobile Home Park
Arrested Person #1: Antonia Montowine – 29 – Santa Fe, NM
Arrested Person #2: Rebecca Green – 27 – Santa Fe, NM
Mr. Montowine was found highly intoxicated in a park/playground area with three children ages 5, 7, and 10. Mr. Montowine became uncooperative with an Off-Duty Santa Fe City Police Officer who asked him to leave the area because he was not a resident there. Mr. Montowine became unruly to the extent that he took all of his clothes off and was exposing himself to everyone that drove by. During the confrontation with the Santa Fe City Officer Mr. Montowine told the children to run away, which they did, placing them in a dangerous situation due to traffic conditions.
A welfare check was conducted on the children who were now with Mr. Montowine’s wife, Rebecca Green. Ms. Green was also found to be highly intoxicated and admitted leaving the children with Mr. Montowine at the park.
Both subjects were arrested on child abuse charges and a referral was made to the Children, Youth and Families Department.

Arrested: Lydia Palmer 38 yoa female Santa Fe
Above suspect was involved in a car crash. Investigation revealed the suspect was taking several medications and also appeared to be under the influence of other narcotics. Drug paraphernalia was located on the suspect consistent with the use of crack cocaine. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center without further incident.

Location: Chamisa Trailhead (Santa Fe HYDE PARK)
Victim reported between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. an unknown person forced entry into their vehicle and stole several items to include a purse and debit card. The card had been used at a local gas station. The case is under investigation.

Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported Fruad on New Mexico State Road 41, contact was made with the victim who stated suspects obtained a check the victim had previously used. Suspect's then re wrote the check in a different amount and to a different payee in New York. This case remains under investigation.

Victim reported she attempted to open an account with Verizon Wirelss and was advised they could not open a new account since she had another account in 2010 that was currently in collections. Victim stated she never had an account with Verizon and did not know who used her personal information. Case is currently under investigation.

Stolen: Dewalt Screw Gun total estimated value: $100.00
Victim reports at the above location unknown person gained unlawful entry into a shed. Entry was gained through an unsecured door between December 7, 2015 at 9am and December 8, 2015 at 11:30am. The above item was taken and later found thrown in some bushes in the area near the residence. Case still pending further investigation.
