Charges: DWI (Felony), Driving While License Revoked, Immediate Notice of Crashes
On Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 4:44 PM, Deputies responded to location, which in Santa Fe County, in reference to a hit and run crash. Deputies located the vehicle moving forward and backwards around a residence. Suspect was advised to exit the vehicle and reved the engine. Suspect eventually exited the vehicle and had an odor of an intoxicating liquor emitting from his breath, blood shot eyes, slurred speach, and admitted to drinking. Suspect desplayed signs of impairment during the standardized field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. An MVD check was conducted on the suspect who had a Revoked driver's license and at least three prior DWIs. The vehicle, driven by the suspect had crashed into a fence in the area causing damage to the fence. The vehicle left the scene shortly after. Suspect provided a breath test and the results were greater than .16. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Suspect: Jorge Rivera-Ortiz, 37, Santa Fe, NM
Charges: Battery against a household member, Larceny
On Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 10:42 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Suspect entered victim's residence with a key he had in his possession. Suspect and victim got into a verbal argument. Suspect then battered the victim who is an ex-girlfriend. Suspect left the residence with Victim's cell phone. Suspect later returned to the residence where he was placed under arrest. Cell phone was located in suspect's possession and returned to the victim. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Vehicle: 2006 Maroon Toyota Van
On Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at 9:40 PM, deputies responded to location to take a stolen motor vehicle report. Reporting party advised that sometime between Thursday, December 4, 2014 and Tuesday, December 9, 2014 that an unknown person took the vehicle without permission from the location. A check to see if the vehicle had been towed recently was conducted with negative results. The vehicle was entered into the N.C.I.C. database as stolen.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop with the above driver after deputy observed a traffic violation. Upon contact with the driver, it was found that the driver was operating a vehicle while his license was revoked with the arrest clause. Driver was arrested and his vehicle was seized accordance with Santa Fe County Seizure Ordinance 2013-5

Deputies were given a call of a reckless driver traveling at the listed location. The vehicle was located, stopped and contact was made with the driver. Upon speaking with the driver, impairment was detected and SFST's were administered. Driver was arrested and submitted to a blood draw. Subject was booked into jail.

Victim reports that between the dates of 12-06-2014 at 12:00pm and 12-08-2014 at 8:00am suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into a lumber yard shed at the above location. Once inside the above items were taken. A lock and extension cord were damaged. Case still pending further investigation.

On Monday, December 8, 2014 at 10:23 PM, deputies responded to above location, which is in Santa fe County, in reference to a domestic disturbance. It was later discovered that suspect threatened victim with a knife. Victim was in fear of getting cut or stabbed by the suspect. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Charges: Driving while license revoked, When lighted lamps required
On Monday, December 8, 2014 at 10:22 PM, Deputy observed the vehicle traveling on Airport Road without any lights on. Vehicle was stopped and contact was made with the suspect. Suspect's driving record was checked through N.C.I.C. and returned with a revoked driver's license with the 66-8-122G arrest clause. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Due to the violation having occurred within the Santa Fe city limits the vehicle was not seized. Vehicle was towed from the scene.
